It has 2 bedrooms ( one King size bed and one Double bed) and is fully equipped for self-catering guests with full fibre WIFI, smart TV, providing a real home from home Holiday Cottage for visitors to this beautiful part of t

he country. Lavender Cottage is dog friendly with a fully 100% enclosed garden. We provide bedding, towels, hair dryer, travel Cot and a high chair if requested.. Also a long stay car permit for free parking 100 yards from the cottage. This permit also allows you to park in other North Yorkshire towns. On street parking is available outside the cottage

Lavender Cottage Pickering has had a great summer with some great guests.
We are now taking booking for next year but filling up fast 👍

The cottage was very well equipped and very clean. Everything worked and the layout and equipment were really well thought-out. It was ideal in terms of location. A very good base for touring the North York Moors and surrounding coast and countryside. Ideal also for dog owners with a secure garden.✴
Fabulous location for visiting the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Scarborough and Whitby. Lovely cottage with comfy beds and 2 double rooms.✴
Great location, well equipped for a comfortable stay in a home from home. Decking area was a bonus and a sun trap✴

It has 2 bedrooms and is fully equipped for self-catering guests with WiFi and Freeview TV, providing a real home from home for visitors to this beautiful part of the country. Whether you're looking to explore York or the stunning Yorkshire Moors or visit the coastal towns of Whitby, Scarborough or Filey - Lavender is the perfect base and offers a warm welcome from your travels. We can point you to some more hidden away smaller beaches!!

Alternatively, just want to get away from it all and take things at a slower pace, then bring your favourite box sets and settle in. If you don't want to cook, there are restaurants and pubs on your doorstep or you can make use of the fully equipped kitchen and sit down in the dining room to relax over dinner.

Please note that during peak season, mid July to the end of August, our changeover day is a Friday/Saturday. We are happy to accept, wherever possible, short bookings at any other times of the year.
