Celebrating an Epic Journey: From Kangchenjunga Base Camp in the East to Hilsa on the Western Border of Nepal, we conquered 1488 km, ascended 120,826 meters in 94 unforgettable days!

Our adventure spanned the world's highest peaks, treacherous mountain passes, lush jungles, arid deserts, and snow-covered landscapes. We shared dal bhat and stories with locals, whose warmth and hospitality made Nepal truly special. ❤️

Despite having so little, they shared everything and cheered us on throughout our wild journey. Witnessing challenging living conditions, we're committed to giving back. We've chosen to support Phase, a charity doing incredible work in Nepal, including in the impoverished region of Mugu.

Another Photo from Lumba Sumba 5139m pass on the great himalaya trail.

This pass was an exhausting climb we camped at around 4800m and felt the altitude pretty bad over night and in the morning with bad headaches and sickness.

At around 5000m there is a steep snow traverse which definitely added to the excitement/fear factor.

Another past adventure with Sam.

A slog of a weekend. We walked with super heavy packs from the ski car park on Cairngorm to hopefully climb on Carn Etchachan. super deep wet snow all the way to the shelter stone. Were we going to spend the night... but great evening views of Stacan Dubh. Only to find the next day that the turf wasn't frozen enough to climb! So we just had to wade our way back to the car again.

On our way to Thudam after the Lumba Sumba pass this side had fallen over and was pointing in the "wrong" direction... but technically it was right. It just took us another 2 months to actually reach the border.

The First high pass 4773m on the Great Himalaya Trail from East to West Nepal. Although the start at the Kanchenjunga base camp is higher. This pass did catch and kept a lot of snow we passed on the 8th of April 2023

Thanks for all the birthday messages. I'm home safe and sound now enjoying the day with Amber and the dogs on the beach. Lots of Nepal posts to come but first a relax x

We've only gone a done it!

Just under 1500km (1488km)
120,000m of ascent
And the entire length of Nepal walked!

The experience has been life changing. And more details, pictures and videos to follow.

Now to start making my way home to 😊
