🌪️🌫️ Storm Éowyn Update 🌪️🌫️

Storm Éowyn is expected to bring severe weather conditions across the UK, with the most significant impact anticipated on Friday, January 24, 2025.

A red weather warning is in effect for Northern Ireland until 14:00 and for Scotland's central belt from 10:00 to 17:00 today.
Following the red alert an amber warning will be in place until 2100 on Friday before the alert changes to yellow through until 1500 on Saturday, January 25.

As a result, most flights in Belfast, Glasgow, and Edinburgh are delayed or cancelled today, and there is a high risk of further disruption to weekend flights. Emirates is planning to deploy a second A380 to fly passengers out of Glasgow tomorrow.
The first thing I did this morning was contact all my clients traveling today and tomorrow with the latest updates. I am personally monitoring their flight bookings, in collaboration with the Travel Counsellors Duty Office and two of my trusted suppliers in Kenya and Thailand, where my clients will be traveling to.

Mauritius has definitely been top of mind this week—it's my best-selling destination, and for good reason!
I was fortunate to visit the island for work, where I had the opportunity to stay at and explore some of the incredible hotels Mauritius has to offer.
I explored every corner of the island which allows me to offer in-depth recommendations tailored to each client’s unique preferences.

Last year, I returned to Mauritius with my family to update my product and destination knowledge (the things I do for work!) and I followed the same advice I often share with clients.
Mauritius is so diverse, with each coast offering something unique, that I always suggest a twin-centre stay for those visiting for more than a week.
One couple took my advice and booked a tailor-made multi-centre holiday for their first visit to this beautiful island.

⏺️ First, they’ll be staying in the North, at one of the few hotels within walking distance of a town. There’s no need for all-inclusive here, so they’ve opted for half board, giving them the chance to explore local restaurants, markets and street food.

Spotted this morning at Sabi Sands, Kruger National Park! WOW!!!😍🥹🤩

The Kruger is epic for leopards because its dense, diverse landscapes provide the perfect blend of cover and hunting grounds, making it one of the best places to witness these elusive, masterful predators as they stalk, climb trees, and stealthily dominate their territory.

I saw Leopard twice in Kruger National Park but not this close!

Here’s a 8-day South Africa's highlights itinerary proposal: Johannesburg | Kruger National Park | Steenberg Cape Town

1 night at Sandton Sun, Johannesburg
On arrival, meet your English speaking representative from one my favourite suppliers. You will be transferred to your hotel, Sandton Sun, a landmark on the Sandton skyline. Sandton Sun & Towers is the ultimate destination complex seamlessly integrated into the Sandton City Shopping Centre Diamond Walk and the Sandton Convention Centre, and within walking distance to Nelson Mandela Square and the Sandton Gautrain Station.

3 nights at Kapama River Lodge, Kruger National Park
The next morning, you'll take an internal flight up to Hoedspruit, where you'll be met by a representative from Kapama Game Reserve for your road transfer to the lodge. Nestled in the heart of the African wilderness, the River Lodge invites you to experience the magic of South Africa's pristine landscapes. You'll then take an internal flight to Cape Town, where on arrival you'll collect your rental car and drive to your final hotel, Steenberg Hotel & Spa.
