One of the things we love most about running Lyon Escapes is creating spaces where people can truly relax, switch off, and make the best memories. And this year, we’re making some exciting upgrades to do just that! 🤩
🏡 Daisy Cottage is getting a brand-new outdoor space that will be designed to make the most of its surrounding views. We want it to feel like a little retreat of its own—somewhere to sit back, switch off, breathe in the countryside air, and just enjoy being in the moment.
🏖️ Lyons Retreat (our beachside caravan) will be reopening in March, and we’ve made a few updates that we think you’re going to love!

William has been coming to Portknockie since he was a child—exploring the rockpools, running along the beaches, and making the best holiday memories with family. Later, he brought friends, then his own family, and now we all feel at home in this beautiful part of Scotland.
When Carol Ann first visited, she was hooked. The beaches, the sea views, and the local shops and cafes—it was impossible not to fall in love. Now, it’s a place we visit as often as we can, and we love nothing more than seeing our guests fall in love with it, too.
