"This is a lovely house in a great setting. We enjoyed sitting out on the decking watching the rowers go by. It is ideally located for exploring Shrewsbury. The house is beautifully decorated spotlessly clean and well equipped. Beds are very comfortable and we appreciated that each bedroom was en suite which is great for a group of friends holiday. We would definitely recommend Louise’s house and would love to come back again"

"We had a great time staying in Louise’s property. Really beautiful and luxuriously decorated, it has every amenity you could wish for. As a group of 4 couples , we really appreciated having 4 king-sized beds, and each bedroom having its own ensuite bathroom. Shrewsbury is a beautiful old town and we enjoyed being so close to the town centre with its numerous independent shops and bars. Louise was really helpful and responded to my requests regarding early check-in quickly. "We had an amazing 5 day stay at this property. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. Bedrooms are lovely with very comfortable beds. The view of the river from the bifold doors at the rear of the property is breathtaking. The hot tub was a luxury after messing about on the river on kayaks and paddle boards all day. We would highly recommend this property if you like being by a river and enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing or watching the wild life. Louise the host is great, she was always there to answer any questions and stayed in touch throughout our stay."

"This was our second time at Louise's place and it was great once again. Superb, magical location on the river. House itself is beautiful with everything necessary for a comfortable family stay. Louise is an excellent host. She worked hard to make sure we could check in early. Communication was prompt and she went out of the way to respond to our needs. Highly recommended. We hope to be back for a third stay."

Spooky Staycation in Shrewsbury!!!

Always lots to do here, even at Halloween you can celebrate with a Ghost Tour at the Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery ......... if you dare! 👻

We offer the option of booking a hot tub which goes beautifully on our decking and just look at the view!

These ladies had a wonderful relaxing time and gave us a rave review - a couple of glasses of fizz also helps 😉

Within staggering distance of is The ALB Cocktail and Tapas Bar. It is a family run business and they specialize in keeping things unique by adding their own twist to classics!

As well as yummy food they also run cocktail classes - you can have lots of fun, learn a new skill and no need for a taxi home - what is there not to like!

We love it when people enjoy the house just as much as we do!

"Wow... what a place! We stayed three nights for a wedding and absolutely loved this house. There were so many wonderful touches that made it a really comfortable and fun stay. The host also recommended hot tub hire, which we took advantage of and it was excellent - don't miss out on this! The house was very well stocked and we were able to cook some excellent big breakfasts over the weekend. We also loved that the house backs onto the river, so you're able to dip straight in from the back decking. Louise's communication was brilliant and we can't recommend this place enough - really, really good!"
