We are delighted here at The White Lion Heptonstall to welcome our new Chef Robbie.

Robbie joins us after spells as head chef for successful independent restaurants in Leeds and Manchester. With knowledge of all types of cuisine, his particular passion is for Spanish and Italian food, as well as for interesting and tasty vegetarian and vegan dishes. As we head into summer, he also hopes to have some new fish and seafood dishes on the menu.

His first new menu for us, launched last week, gives a hint of his interests, with a few tapas-inspired dishes, and other Mediterranean dishes, alongside our pub classics like fish and chips, steak and burgers.

Sunday lunches continue, and we also aim to offer a selection from the main menu if you fancy something other than a full roast.

(I'll be trying the pinchos de carne and orrechiette pollo pesto - it's a rough job but someone has to do it)

We look forward to hearing from you once you have tasted some of our new delicious dishes.
