Day 1, up and out early. Just a casual 15500 steps around the city. Literally got on skin on soles of my feet ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
Walked into a protest, got told by a lady we were in danger and to go back to the hotel. A security guy with a huge dog told me to put my phone away, obviously dodgy. Then followed us to where we wanted to go to keep us safe ๐Ÿ™ˆ
Walked up to the funicular, can safely say high altitude places are not for me. Anyway. Back down bit of lunch, 2 beers & tapas ยฃ7.00!!!

Flight out tomorrow to the next place!!
I loved Bogata, maybe niave, but I never did not feel safe.

Yes, I've pinched Rachs pictures!!

Last April, Rach & I decided to do something exciting for our 50ths this year, and colombia won.

It's been on my bucket list for years. We are doing a small group tour starting off in Bogota & finishing in Cartagena.
So tomorrow we fly. I am so excited & a bit nervous too. I haven't left my family for this long before. I am sure they will be all good. Who needs clean clothes & food anyway?!!!!
While I don't want to leave them, I do. It's so important to do your own thing and fill your life with adventures.
Anyway, pictures are incoming!!!

I love going away in February, especially after Christmas, its something to really look forward to. I need to know I am going to feel the heat again, and definitely after the cold weather we've got coming ๐Ÿ™

So how about Lanzarote fab pace to go, not a long flight. Lovely beaches, fab Marina to sit and people watch!! You could even take the ferry to Fuerteventura for the day
