Exmoor dark skies festival starts this week. Weeks of free events guests can attend. The holiday cottages are lucky enough to have received dark skies accreditation and we provide our guests with star gazing kits in their cottages. Guests regularly see the Milky Way, shooting stars and northern lights, often sitting in their hot tub!

We still have some availability for guests to stay throughout the festival, but be quick! 💫 🌟 🌙

Exmoor National Park invites you to immerse yourself in the skies above from the 18th October to 3rd November!

Not only is the festival a celebration of the unique quality of Exmoor’s Dark Skies, but it is also the 70th Anniversary of Exmoor being designated as a National Park in 1954.

The festival includes something for everyone, with a jam packed program with immersive Planetarium experiences, Dark Skies Yoga by Moonlight, a Family Astro Party, Ranger-led Dark Skies Walk and talks, a Gin and Stargazing evening, Space Detectives and Fireside Storytelling.
