Volunteers from Tissington Village, including members of Valley View Barn's team, come together to dig the clay, soak the boards, puddle the mud, and decorate the boards before they are proudly displayed across the village! It is a fantastic, historic tradition that is thought to originate from thanking the fresh water source for keeping the plague out of Tissington! ๐ซฃ
