Just back from the most magical trip to Lapland with Canterbury Travel family D have had the most amazing experience.
I always recommend Canterbury if it’s affordable as they do have a lot of extra touches. They are a little more premium but they are worth it.
Mum told me that she keeps filling up with emotion at how special it was. I did too. They truly have made the best memories.
I also have lots of amazing pics from them which I will share tomorrow. Facebook won’t let me share pics alongside a video. Keep watching as they add fab too the glow on the kids faces is tremendous.

Perfect last wander on the beach.
There is something extra special about seeing my boy live his best life on the beach. It truly is his happy place which means it is also mine.
I have actually been busier with bookings this week whilst here than at home … so I think we should just stay!!!

🎈 ANNIVERSARY ADVENTURES 🎈
Most years we try to do something on our anniversary that’s special.
2 years ago today we went hot air ballooning in Cappadocia.
This had been on my travel bucket list for years. It was absolutely tremendous.
I have recently booked someone to go and do this. I am so excited for them.

It just happened that on Monday when we were in Venice that the Italian President was in town.
In Piazza San Marco (St Marks Square) there was a recognition ceremony for the armed forces, police and fire service.
We just happened to be sailing through the canals on the gondola when this fly past happened.
My husband just happened to catch it. To be honest it was a little of a goose bump moment.

🍾 ST MARKS SQUARE 🍾
So we had the most wonderful evening yesterday doing the ultimate tourist things in Venice.
We sat in the square listening to this wonderful little orchestra enjoying a bottle of Prosecco. It was that wonderful we stayed much longer than we anticipated and had a second bottle.
We then wandered the lovely streets. Ate slices of pizza and enjoyed some gelato.
Today we are planning on wandering more. We are going to the Cannareggio district for Chicheti. Then this evening we have a very special dinner booked at a top restaurant. There is a glam dress code so it’s a good excuse to get dressed up. We are also heading to Harrys Bar for a cocktail.
I am going to pop a few pics on our stories today too as we wander.

We were immensely lucky to be upgraded to a rooftop jacuzzi suite on arrival to this beauty of a hotel.
Our room is in the Signature Building which means we have a whole host of extra benefits.
We can also dine out at restaurants across the island as part of our all inclusive.
The view is just perfect.
