Good news! After the cyber attack on tfl earlier this year, you can now apply for zip cards for kids again - expect it to take longer than usual as there's quite a backlog though, but if you visit London regularly and have children aged 11-15, it can definitely be worth it.

We are now accepting applications for 5-10, 11-15 and 16+ Zip Oyster photocards.

Expired 5-10 and 11-15 Zip Oyster photocards will continue to be accepted on TfL and train operating company services across London where they are normally valid until 31 December 2024.

We advise parents and guardians to apply as soon as possible to receive their new photocards before the end of the year.

We are accepting applications for 60+ London Oyster photocards, as well as 18+ Student, Apprentice and 18-25 Care Leaver Oyster photocards.

Once new photocards have been issued, we will provide information on how to claim refunds for any additional travel costs incurred while the photocard website was unavailable.
