Hello and welcome to our page.
We are offering holidays in our 3 bedroom caravan that comfortably sleeps 6, 1 double and 2 twins. Fully equipped for all your needs including full size cooker/oven, large fridge freezer, microwave and many more kitchen appliances to make your stay easier. All you need to bring is bed linen, towels etc, bed linen can be hired from campsite owners at a small charge if you dont wish to bring your own. All beds have a duvet and pillows provided.
The campsite itself has only 22 caravans so not at all crowded and each van has its own spacious plot, not on top of each other like many other places. It has a heated swimming pool and a bar/restaurant for snacks or full meals, well recommended.
Shops can be found in St Paul du bois, 5 min away, or for a bigger shop Vihiers is 10 min away by car where there is a large Super-u and smaller shops in the town centre as well as cafes to sit outside and enjoy the ambience whilst sipping a nice coffee or beer/wine.
For the wine lovers amongst you there are numerous wine caves around, most of which you can taste the wines before purchase, make sure you leave room in your boot for the journey home, you wont be disappointed. This region is particularly good for the Anjou rose.
Also very close is an award winning zoo at Doue la Fontaine, its an old disused quarry with a large net over it which allows many of the birds etc free flight so you can sit on a bench with parrots all around you or even an andean condor hopping in front of you, yes they too have free flight and its an amazing experience to see them so close without being in a cage. Well worth a visit.
There are many Chateaus in the area, many of which open their doors to the public so you can have a good look round and some have restaurants that offer the fine dining that the french are so famous for.
Other attractions include theme parks, botanical gardens, water parks, a local market in the villages pretty much every day. The beach at La Rochelle or St Jean de mont, are only a drive away.
The site is owned by an English couple, Pete and Tracy who have over 20 years experience of the area and are more than willing to point you in the right direction no matter what you need.
