Every year we have a period that we close Sunnyside and have a refurbishment schedule so we can always try to keep it fresh and new and make sure that our returning guests have something new to experience. This year we refurbished the lounge with new flooring and wallpapers, created a more glamorous hallway, refurbished the kitchen and added some more feature wallpapers! The response from our lovely guests has been amazing! Please remember that booking direct with us is significantly cheaper as we can remove the commissions that sites such as booking and Airbnb charge us!! We have some weekday availability this year and a few weekends left towards the end of the year!!!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunnyside. The location was perfect. It’s a beautiful and spacious house with a fantastic enclosed garden. There is a lot of thought and detail all over the place. Our furry friends had an amazing time too! We will be back again!

While we normally post lovely views and offers on our page we want to lend our support to this excellent campaign. We have a fabulous high street full of independent businesses in our lovely town. However, through the attitude of the Welsh Government strangling businesses with rates far higher than England and their equally poor attitude to tourism, a stand needs to be taken. At Sunnyside we support this wholeheartedly. We are proud of our town, its businesses and our role in bringing you, our guests, here to share it. Please, please share this so the Fair Deal for Businesses campaign can get the national coverage it deserves! Thank you friends! The Sunnyside Team

In addition to the points we've already made there is so much more that can be added to this campaign.

The tourism levy which is impacting holiday let's to the point that many are closing their doors.

The threat of the £1 per mile tax which is ludicrous.

No Visit Wales campaigns running across the UK or internationally. Between 2019 and 2022 international tourism was down by 22% and those that did visit their spend was down 24% according to statistics.

The hospitality and tourism industry is crucial to Welsh economy and yet on several levels it is being suffocated.
