If you have a passion for Exeter, you have a short window of opportunity to join our brilliant Red Coat team!😁

See the article below from April 2022. This could be YOU in April 2025!

One of our 2022 'graduates' says "I have such great memories of the Red Coat Guide 5 month Training Programme. Although the training was tough, it was incredibly interesting and also great fun. We developed a fantastic bond both as a Trainee Group and subsequently as a whole Red Coat Team."

John, another 2022 'graduate' Guide says "When I retired, I needed to keep exercising the mind! I have always been a bit of a history buff and am very much a people person. Being a Red Coat Guide combines the two! I love giving the Tours and interacting with people from many different countries."

If you are interested in training to be a Red Coat Guide, or would like more information about our fabulous team, please email [email protected]

Who was Mary of Exeter? We wanted to share this beautiful animation from Double Elephant Print Workshop. It was created by local youth groups and partner organisations between 2017 and 2020. In 6,000 (!) drawn frames of footage, it tells the incredible story of Mary the Pigeon and Charlie Brewer, two of Exeter's iconic residents. You may have heard about Mary and Charlie during our "Old and New" Tour. Enjoy! ❤️
