With so much countryside to explore we’re sure that ramblers, runners, strollers and adventurers will all find plenty to fall in love with on a glamping holiday here in the Dales. When your energy is all used up, you’ll enjoy discovering the ‘foodie’ side of our local area among the many gastro-pubs and charming cafés that will tempt you to ease into a cosy chair and take things slow for a while.

WIGWAM HOLIDAYS BRECON, POWYS

Situated on the border of the Brecon Beacons National Park, Mid Wales. We have the ideal base for our guests to explore this exciting landscape. Our site is just off Aberyscir Hill, a few miles to the west of the market town of Brecon.

We are a friendly family farm set in 100 acres in the beautiful hills of the Brecon Beacons, Mid Wales. We have a herd of 80 cattle and 700 sheep and so there is always something going on.

Each of our six heated Wigwam Cabins are situated in a quiet secluded area with spectacular views of the wonderful welsh hills. Three of our Wigwam Cabins have a wood fired hot tub included, allowing you to unwind and relax after a busy day.

WIGWAM HOLIDAYS LAXDALE HOLIDAY PARK, STORNAWAY

Laxdale Holiday Park is a small family-run site set in peaceful tree lined surroundings. We provide first-rate facilities for campers, touring caravans, motor vans and self-catering holidaymakers. Facilities are modern but the park retains the traditional friendly atmosphere that is typical of the Western Islands. Located 1.5 miles from the historic town of Stornoway, the park is an ideal centre from which to explore the beautiful Islands of Lewis and Harris.

Our Wigwam Cabins are located 40m from the toilet/shower block. Showers are free and a laundry facility is also provided on site. Parking is close to but not beside the Wigwam Cabins. The Wigwam Cabins have views over croft land to Laxdale river estuary and to the nearby town of Stornoway.

We have two additional wooden Wigwam cabins on our site! Each Wigwam includes an electric light, panel heater, standard UK household sockets, mattresses and picnic bench outside.

You can choose from our smaller 'Wee Brave' Wigwam that sleeps 3 adults and 1 child or our larger 'Big Chief' Wigwam, accommodating up to 4 adults and 1 child. Each Wigwam has a raised platform and mattresses for sleeping which convert into a cushioned seating and living area with free standing table for use during the day. Pillows are provided but guests must provide their own sleeping bags. The small kitchen area is equipped with a fridge (with ice box), a microwave and a kettle.

Enjoy a relaxing holiday on our friendly, working croft at Ruaig, on the beautiful Hebridean Isle of Tiree. Stay in one of two luxury, ensuite, glamping cabins, yards from the sea and a sandy beach, with stunning views over to Soa, Mull and Iona.

Unwind on Tiree’s white, shell-sand beaches. Spot seals and basking sharks, hares and, if you are lucky, otters. In Spring and Summer the machair is carpeted with wildflowers. There are lapwings, curlews and oystercatchers and, on summer evenings, you can hear the crek-crek of the corncrake. Experience turquoise seas, wide horizons, beautiful sunsets and clear night skies which are perfect for stargazing.
