Ripley's Rest - Luxury Holiday Cottage in Grassington, Yorkshire Dales

Managed to grab a week up at the cottage ourselves this week. Mostly nice dry sunny weather, mostly! All cafes, shops and pubs open in Grassington and surrounding villages. Visited one of our fav cafes in Hebden The Old School Tea Room Hebden earlier in the week. Managed to squeeze in 3 gravel rides, two in Wharfdale and the other further north from Askrigg in Wensleydale. Picked up a curry from the village restaurant/take away Rozis Grassington. Had a fantastic rib eye at our favourite Dales Pub Queens Arms - Litton. They have their own micro brewery onsite and the ‘Pale’ is excellent. Walked to Kettlewell along the Dales Way which is right on our doorstep. Will miss this place as off home tomorrow. Hope our next guests have as good a time as we always do. Best, Max and Anne

It's very much looking like our cottage will be available to let again as from July 4th 2020 subject to confirmation from the Government. We will be ready for the 'new' normal and although we already pride ourselves in ensuring our cottage is thoroughly clean and well presented prior to new guests arriving, we will be taking on board extras measures to ensure the cottage is disinfected through out in-between stays.

Key pick up/drop off is via a key safe so there is no need for face to face interaction with ourselves at any point during your stay.

A trip to the tranquility and beauty of the Dales maybe the perfect tonic following months of being cooped up at home during lockdown and a less stressful holiday than trying to go abroad this year.

We still have some limited availability for July, August and September 2020 so please get in touch if interested to take advantage of discounted prices for direct bookings.

We are seeing plenty of bookings coming in for 2020 as all of us leave the festive season behind us and think about our plans for this year.

If you want to take time out to relax and refresh or deliver on those fitness goals through walking, hiking, climbing, running or cycling the Yorkshire Dales is a fantastic location for you and Grassington a truly wonderful village to base yourself from with its quirky shops, pubs and cafes.

Over the last 12 months Anne (wife) and I have enjoyed renovating Ripley's Rest Cottage in Grassington, Yorkshire Dales. We get up to the cottage as much as we can and also make it available to let for long weekends/mid-week/full week stays.

With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it is ideal for couples, two couples or a small family.
