Yesterday we stopped by Papa’s Caffe Malvern on their opening day for a quick coffee. We found a modern, Mediterranean inspired cafe with great coffee and highly recommend a visit. Do try a slice of their courgette & avocado cake!

A quick pitstop yesterday to the new Rateofrisecoffee roaster in hip Abergavenny. One of the best coffees we’ve tasted and roasted right onsite in their bijou roastery in the shadows of the Brecon Beacons. Some great hilly routes nearby including the Skirrid, the Tumble, Gospel Pass

Choo choo… Great to steam by Bobby's on the popular Greenway in Stratford-upon-Avon yesterday. Superb food, awesome coffee (North Star Coffee Roasters), friendly service and plenty of space!

Railway themed and along the traffic free cycle & walkway it’s ideal for everyone, just a stones throw from the bussle of Shakespeare’s Stratford.

Superb spring menu at The Makers' Kitchen including locally roasted asparagus, spiced veggie roll and poached eggs on sourdough 👌. Superb service, bike friendly and with lots of space for groups. We even caught some spring sunshine on our road around rural Warwickshire and the nearby Georgian town of Alcester. Do check out our full review for more info

Great to stop by this week to a favourite, Koffee & Cake. Cakes include Gold bar, Kinder Bueno or Galaxy blondies, Twirl millionaire and Snickers or Milky Bar brownies to name a few.

Under new ownership their cakes are still sourced from the original owners running Oh For Cake’s Sake.

If passing Pershore on two wheels or feet alike, be sure to stop by their excellent coffee (Wogan Coffee Roasters) and cake shop on the High Street.

Happy new year to all our followers! A quick pitstop in the rain yesterday to see 2023 out at Alex Gooch Bakery Monmouth in lovely Monmouth for perhaps the best sourdough we’ve tasted and a well needed coffee from Extract Coffee Roasters. Their stollen slices, chocolate croissants and lavishly decorated chocolate & raspberry bosock were a hit with the locals.

Just visited No.1 Brownes Way, a superb new cafe that opened up two weeks ago in village, just north of . Serving up superb coffee roasted from our favourites Method Coffee Roasters, alongside Peter Cooks Bread delicious bread in many of their breakfast and lunch delights it’s the perfect winter pitstop!

Favourites include the beef brisket Benedict, loaded brioche breakfast baps and superb selection of warm sandwiches. Did we mention their moreish cakes too? Ginger, carrot, lemon & Victoria sponge alongside a robust rocky road and brownie.

Great to stop by Cornmill Yard yesterday in sunny Evesham for perhaps one of the best coffee’s I’ve had.. A special roast with notes of passion fruit, pomegranate and meringue curtesy of Sweven Coffee roasters.

What’s more there’s superb savoury snacks, sourdough, cakes, cruffins and pastries curtesy of MOR Bakery & Kitchen in nearby Chipping Campden. Plenty of room for groups of all sizes too both inside and out with super friendly staff!

Early Halloween treat yesterday at one of our favourites, Abbey Road Coffee at the base of the gorgeous Malvern Hills. Carrot cake was superb too as the coffee supplied by Method Coffee Roasters of Worcester.

Took a trip to Diddly Squat Farm Shop yesterday to see what all the fuss was about. Despite the long queue for the eggcellent farm shop the cafe was great value, the food super tasty and service was quick.

There’s plenty of space for groups of all sizes with undercover and outdoor seating and awesome views…. Although I’m not sure the owner is a massive cycling fan, it makes a great and ride stop! The breakfast baps are awesome!

Great to be back at The Baking Bird last weekend, a very popular family-run cakery served from a vintage 1960s Bedford CA van!

Located between Tewkesbury and Gloucester on the A38 at Coombe Hill Farm Shop, their superb cakes are lovingly baked fresh each day; the pear & chocolate being a popular choice during our visit. The Pastel de Nata is a favourite of ours too!

New for 2023; Rickyard Café in Romsley near to the in the West Midlands, boasts picturesque outdoor seating, deliciously different breakfast and lunch dishes, fab coffee, locally made cakes and plenty of space for cycling clubs of all sizes.

We'd highly recommend trying their sweetcorn fritters served with halloumi or the Rickyard breakfast. For that sugar fix do try nanny's famous fruit cake or the very fragrant apple & cinnamon slice.

Great to be back at the extremely popular Rhug Estate farm shop, drive thru and takeaway this weekend, located on the busy A5 en route to Snowdonia.

Serving up delicious food made with their award-winning Rhug Organic meat including their famous baps and varied breakfast and lunches. There's plenty of outdoor seating with views across the Rhug estate and a quick to go food hatch too!

Plantarium Cafe is a superb truly vegan cafe & coffee shop situated in Shakespeares' hometown offering a refreshing selection of breakfasts, lunches and cakes.

Out front is a large terraced seating area offering plenty of space for groups of all sizes, alongside seating inside too.

The cakes are awesome and include a rich chocolate and pistachio and rose. Also do try their 'Trip to Mexico' wrap.

Under new ownership since 2023, Brew Bear Coffee is a fantastic pitstop for that caffeine fix, located in the riverside town of Evesham and serving up fab coffee, homemade cakes and a small selection of savoury snacks.

Surrounded by quiet, scenic roads in the glorious Vale of Evesham be sure to stop by and try their delicious millionaire shortbread before heading back out on two wheels through the Lenches villages or around nearby

There’s a superb outdoor terraced seating area and bike racking out front too.

After fab Cheltenham coffee this bank holiday? Friday saw us quickly stop by the The Scandinavian Coffee Pod in regent Cheltenham Spa, just a quick cycle from the bustling high street.

Serving up superb freshly ground coffee and a tasty selection of cakes and pastries, it was the perfect pitstop for our ride whilst soaking in the glorious Gloucestershire sunshine on the outdoor seating!

The cinnamon protein ball, long black vanilla coffee (from El Salvador) alongside a creamy Pastel de Nata were the perfect match!

Nestled in the Forest of Dean at the popular cycle centre and home to a myriad of volunteer made MTB downhill routes is Pedalabikeaway a superb, great value cafe serving up hearty breakfasts, lunches and cakes to hungry cyclists, walkers and tourists alike.

The rich chocolate brownies and locally sourced burgers are firm favourites of ours!

Aside from the fantastic MTB trials there's fantastic, quiet scenic routes aplenty nearby for those roadies too!

A quick pitstop today at Chain & Sprocket Cafe in Ruthin for a much needed morning coffee and cake. The red velvet and millionaire shortbread were delicious!

A fantastic selection of breakfast and brunch options, savoury snacks and homemade cakes alongside freshly ground coffee.

A hilly 90 mile cycle today from Corwen to Abergele and back via some stunning roads!

Honey and Ginger: Farmshop & Cafe is fantastic family-run community cafe and farm shop situated six miles west of Bristol, serving up fantastic coffee, homemade cakes and delicious locally sourced savoury snacks. Do give their Biscoff millionaire shortbread or honey & bergamot (citrus) slice a try alongside a 'Scrumpy Janet' scotch egg!

Other delights; chocolate orange blondie, Oreo, caramel egg or salted caramel brownies, pastel de nata and white chocolate and raspberry muffin to name a few.

Scotch eggs are from Nutts Scotch Eggs in Weston-super-Mare (give the 'Scrumpy Janet' a try featuring their famous Jungle Juice), pies & pasties from ChunkofDevon in Ottery St Mary and quiches from Brockley Stores in Bristol. Just down the road from National Trust Tyntesfield a Victorian Gothic Revival house with gardens and parkland near.

A trip down to Devon over the weekend saw us pop by the hugely popular Darts Farm nearby to Exeter.

A foodie’s heaven, step inside the modern farm shop and you’ll find a superb cafe, restaurant, deli and labyrinth of food from scones to mug-covered fruit and veg.

With lots of space inside and out, alongside Tesla charging points for those by car it’s a popular destination for those exploring Devon!

A huge shout out to Guilt Trip Worcester and Guilt Trip Coffee + Donuts for making our Sunday stag do donut & caffeine ride the perfect mid-way pitstop!

Douts scoffed by the gang included; blueberry & white chocolate cheesecake, Boston cream, maple toffee, salted caramel custard and espresso glaze.

If you're looking for fantastic donuts for your upcoming weekend ride, they've coffee shops in the picturesque Cotswold village of Broadway and cathedral city of Worcester, alongside their very recently opened store in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire too.

All made in-house and fresh each day, you can be sure of a hipster mid-cycle sugar fix, alongside fantastic coffee, a hip, modern interior and great service.
