“A slice of heaven - perfect for a break from normal life” solo female guest who stayed June 2023 for 3 nights at Woodman’s Rest, Ganders Gate Glamping.

It really makes a huge difference to our small businesses and we have been receiving an influx of bookings since moving online reservations to Booking.com (you can still book direct with us by phone, email, messenger or web form!).

This is our first review on the platform and we of course agree. Annette puts a lot of care and attention into each stay, wanting everyone to have a perfect holiday.

Some non paying visitors this evening who’ve managed to escape on the hunt for some green grass. Fortunately these two are gentle (greedy) giants and friendly. Also easily persuaded back to their field with some herb treats and promise of their dinner.

They moved in with us here during the first lockdown as their owner was downsizing their film business. We have a claim to fame as Chloe’s dad was the donkey featured in Beauty and the Beast film 🎞 🌟

No guests this weekend so our family are making the most of this amazing space. This is one of the best ways we think to wake up here; do you dunk your biscuits?!

We still have availability in the Summer Holidays if you fancy a private getaway in our beautiful corner of . There’s a little bit of cloud over Kirdford tonight, but on a clear night we have some of the best views particularly as we are within a designated dark skies area.

At Woodman’s Rest you have far reaching unobstructive views of some of the darkest skies in the South of England, perfect for star gazing, or just a beautiful evening under them 🌟 💫 🪐

It’s a great time to look out for shooting stars this week. The Perseid Meteor shower is at it’s peak with potentially 60-100 meteors visible per hour.
