Italian train service Trenitalia has announced its new French winter timetable, with return trips between the French capital and Lyon, as well Chambéry Challes-les-Eaux ( just an hour away from Aime La Plagne)

This is for a limited time only Between 15 December 2024 and 30 March 2025, the train service will be running one daily round trip between Paris, Lyon Part-Dieu, Chambéry Challes-les-Eaux and Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne-Arvan on Saturdays and Sundays.

The journey between Paris Gare de Lyon and Chambéry, will take less than 3 hours 30 minutes and prices are relatively affordable, with some tickets to these locations in the Alps costing just €28 (£23).

We are already taking enquiries for next Summer with 2 major sporting events in La Plagne, open to the public to enter the event. Our chalet is in a perfect location to be a participant or to cheer on your friends/family!

1) L’Etape 2025 takes place 20/7/25 from Albertville to La Plagne - your opportunity to cycle the stage of the Tour De France the professionals will be cycling a few days later.

2) 6000D trail running weekend 31/7 - 2/8. There are 10 races over 3 days to suit all ages and abilities.

Countdown is on with just 10 weeks to go until the ski slopes open!

The Olympique Bobsleigh track in La Plagne is just one short bus stop away (or a short 10 minute walk down the hill) from our chalet ! The track is currently being prepared ready for our guests 🛷😆

Now that the summer holidays are over it’s time to book your ski trip.
Our self catered chalet sleeps 6 people with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & a luxurious lounge overlooking Mont Blanc. An easy drive from the channel tunnel or a 2.5hr transfer from Geneva airport.
The good news is we have availability for early January and February. Due to its high altitude you can ski through to the end of April! The bad news is…it’s booking up fast!

We are so lucky to have the Olympic Bobsleigh track just 5 minute walk (or one short bus stop away) from our apartment. This is a great opportunity for our guests to get another Adrenaline fix 😁😊

C'est un serpent géant, posé au milieu des Alpes. On s'en rapprochant, on entend les bobsleigh. Sur l'unique piste de glisse française, à La Plagne, les meilleurs pilotes du monde peuvent dépasser les 130 km/h. La piste gelée, d'un kilomètre 800, est extrêmement raide et très glissante. Tho...
