Here at Travlux we LOVE but for this client it had much more sentimental value, and ticking off specific regions was very important due to her mother living there for many years as a child, and our client was keen to experience the place where her mother grew up.

The client wanted a tour that wasn’t too big they would get lost in a crowd, gave them enough flexibility during the tour where they could do their own thing, as well as it being totally stress free and guided so they could fully immerse themselves in the culture and not worry about how to get from one place to the next.

Starting their tour in , heading south to , not before taking the famous bullet train to see in all its glory. Next stop is heading towards , followed by , and finishing in . The itinerary is ticked off across 12 days journeying through the heart of this vibrantly diverse country and being fully immersed in the Japanese culture. Whilst on holiday at Sandals Resorts in , our repeat clients let us know they planned to get ahead of the new year rush! After exploring a few of our multi-centre suggestions, they quickly narrowed down the choices to Dubai & .

𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲’𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗽

2024 was a whirlwind of exciting destinations, new beginnings and memorable experiences. Even though we announced me joining the business in August, there were many highlights before news hit the press 🗞

I celebrated New Year on the other side of the world in , which was an incredible way to welcome in 2024 and certainly set the tone for an exciting year ahead.

Throughout the beginning of the year, I met with Ross and Sarah-Lou on various occasions to solidify our collaboration and underwent intensive training sessions for my new role in the business, as well as filming days which were full of creativity and anticipation.

To mark a milestone birthday, I headed to the paradise island of to stay at Canonnier Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa. It felt like the perfect way to celebrate turning 30 and to reflect on the exciting year ahead. Later in the year, I traveled to the sun-kissed shores of for a stay at the newly renovated 5* Iberostar Selection Creta Marine whilst August took me to the beautiful island of , where we stayed in a stunning villa and soaked up every bit of greek culture, making it the ideal spot for some downtime after a busy few months.

Throughout the year, I attended a series of key networking events, from Travel Trade Gazette Luxpo to the Aspire Awards and beyond. These moments were crucial in building relationships, learning and continuing to prepare for the next chapter of my career.

In September, I took a trip to with my in-laws, exploring the country’s lush landscapes, historical landmarks and charming villages, all whilst indulging in some much needed family time.

To round off the year, I attended the Caribtours Gala at Claridge’s, a beautiful event that brought together industry professionals and partners. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to close out such a dynamic and rewarding 2024 and I simply cannot wait for what 2025 has to bring 🫶🏻

𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗵-𝗟𝗼𝘂’𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗽

Back in January there was very little in the calendar in the way of travel, but luckily that soon changed and as Ross said, it’s turned out to be quite the year! 🗺️

With a few joint trips onboard & to the magical city of , the rest of the year was spent hopping all over Europe, enjoying hosted stays in and an unforgettable trip to at Grecotel Corfu Imperial Luxury Beach Resort & The Olivar Suites.

We enjoyed a real adventure in May from Bologna and into the Tuscan mountains for a unique stay at Oasyhotel, before a scenic train ride through the alps into Switzerland to the iconic Hôtel Royal - Evian Resort 🏔️

September was the business month with Alice joining the team, lots of content shoots, wedding fayres, a hosted client event & the Aspire Awards, followed by more travel to Disneyland Paris & a stunning luxury property from CV Villas in , a firm favourite! 🇹🇷

November was the only month without travel, but December in didn’t disappoint for a winter escape at the very special The Oberoi, Marrakech

2024 has been quite the ride! From starting the year exhibiting at Destinations: The Holiday & Travel Show, sailing with our team and clients onboard and much, much more;

We really do want to strive to continuously improve, so it's been amazing to be recognised by the travel industry and be nominated for the Luxury Travel Big Idea, Travel Trade Gazette Agent of the Year and the Aspire Independent Luxury Agency of the Year 🏅

2024 hasn't been short of unforgettable travel moments either! Revelling in a 19th century Florentine villa with Querido, unwinding in Robinson Crusoe luxury at Gili Lankanfushi, Maldives, launching new Domes Resorts & Reserves in and trying adult-only properties in Cyprus, sampling ultimate elegance at Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts in , exploring the beauty & nature of including over 20+ properties, hosting our first client event , trying out the finest resorts in , attending the fabulous at the stunning One&Only Portonovi and even visiting the to explore the wide range of resorts available 🗺

We're already planning some incredible adventures for 2025 and can't wait to take you with us 🏝 Here's to another incredible year!

An immersive stay experience awaits at New York Hilton Midtown to celebrate the global cinematic event of the year, Wicked Movie 🪄

Whether planning to arrive via bubble or broom, guests can step into this wickedly beautiful suite at New York Hilton Midtown that takes them on a journey along the yellow brick road. An enchanting entrance will delight guests upon arrival, featuring Emerald City-inspired wallpaper and a custom-designed door.

Once inside the suite’s bedroom, pink goes good with green as guests are surrounded by fantastical décor inspired by the film’s central characters. Elphaba’s side takes cues from S**z University’s enchanted forest, positively green and moody, with tree branches twisting around the headboard and piles of enchantment books. • Swap Réunion for Mauritius
• Visit neighbouring Ras Al-Khaima instead of Dubai
• Switch the Canary Islands for Madeira
• Why not venture to St Vincent and the Grenadines, easily reached from Barbados
• If you like Abi Dhabi or Morocco, experience Oman
• Island hopping in the Philippines vs Thailand

𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀, 𝗠𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀? 🏝️

The can be found on many bucket lists, but one thing our clients often struggle with is deciding which is right for them 🤔 So we're here to break things down a little and dive into some key points about all 3 destinations

- many a picturesque honeymoon idea and with so many resorts to choose from, we're here to help. You're unlikely to leave your island/resort once you've arrived by seaplane or speedboat, so if there's an all-inclusive plan available, that's what we'd recommend for the best value. From beachfront to overwater villas, islands of all different sizes, wellness escapes to adventure breaks, it's a great choice for families & couples alike. You might think you could get bored here, but we disagree; there's always something to do for those that want it; or just wile away the days snorkelling and sipping champagne 🥂

- often a great middle-ground choice for those who worry that the Maldives will be too isolated for them, without losing any of the luxurious tropical paradise on offer. Whilst you can do B&B here, we'd recommend half-board or all-inclusive depending on the part of the island you stay. There's plenty of day trips available for the adventure seekers; catamaran sailings, helicopter flights to see the underwater waterfall, hikes & walks or exploring the local towns. We love creating a multi-centre itinerary here, combining both the beach and the mountains so that you get to explore the island. Fun fact - it's super easy to drive here so you can explore at your own pace, too 🗺️

- the furthest afield and often visited by those that have already done the other 2, this jurassic-esque destination is stunning, no doubt about that, but very different to the others. Truthfully, you need 10+ days here because you should stay on at least 2 of the islands; most commonly Praslin & Mahe, but La Digue and Silhouette are wonderful, all depending on your preference. There's very few all-inclusive resorts here, so we'd recommend half-board and budget planning. Whilst you can stay in larger resorts, we love the more boutique villa-style options, such as Raffles Seychelles. The snorkelling (and diving) here are fantastic and there's plenty of opportunity to make friends with the locals (🐢)

Ultimately, we recommend all 3 and the above is simply scratching the surface, so connect with your travel experts to start planning your next escape to the Indian Ocean 🌴
