One of the first things our guests notice is the peace and quiet of our Norfolk forest location.

We have a wide selection of walks straight from our door taking you deep into our ancient woodland. Foxtail Lodge has a private garden with a view of the forest so even when you are not walking in it, you feel among the tree canopy. A perfect place to unwind with a good book and a glass of something cold and delicious.

And don't worry if you forget your book - I leave a handpicked selection in the Lodge for every guest.

We want you to feel completely at home from the moment you arrive at our woodland retreat, Foxtail Lodge. Deep in the Norfolk forest you'll have everything you need for the perfect break for two.

Whether it's exploring the many local forest trails amongst the ancient trees or driving up to the North Norfolk coast for a beach walk, you will enjoy coming home to Foxtail Lodge at the end of each day.

The whirlpool bath is the perfect spot to unwind after your adventures then light the wood-burner and enjoy watching the woodland wildlife through our large picture windows.

Words like this are so wonderful to receive. Foxtail Lodge Norfolk is hidden deep within the forest and is the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries. It is so pleasing to hear that that is exactly what our guests have done!

Don’t worry if you forget your book when you visit Foxtail Lodge. I always put a good selection under the coffee table for guests to peruse.

Take in the winter sights and sounds of the Norfolk forest. We have our own here as we watch our wild neighbours prepare for the cold season ahead.

There’s something so relaxing about being surrounded by trees - watching birds dart between the tall trunks and up into the canopy.

If it’s too chilly for you to sit outdoors all day, enjoy the view from the warm bubbles of the whirlpool bath or light the wood-burner and take in the view from our floor-to-ceiling windows.

Getting Foxtail Lodge ready for guests brings me enormous pleasure. I love to welcome you and introduce our beautiful woodland escape. It's wonderful to receive such lovely reviews and know that you have enjoyed your stay. Becoming an Air BnB was a real honour.

We have availability for Friday 2nd December for a luxurious long weekend - visit some of our brilliant Norfolk shopping venues to stock up on Christmas gifts or take a break from the seasonal hustle and bustle amongst the tallest of pine trees.

Hello! 👋 I thought it was about time that I introduced myself. I’m Jennifer, the owner and host of Foxtail Lodge.

My family and I will be on hand to meet you (and Rico our furry friend) when you arrive and answer any questions you have. Then, unless you need me, I will leave you to have a wonderful and relaxing stay in our beautiful self-catering lodge.
