Another day of good water and another day of making the most of it!
Emma Hedicker and Owen Hedicker spent the day on the dart loop developing as kayakers, simply to get better! my favourite type of coaching. Oh and the wave at triple 3 was a delight!

Final Day of our Canoe development weekend. Today started with some technical input into their paddling and moved onto the tactical application. By varying the environment we can create a robustness in your skills.

Day one of this weekends white water open canoeing course.
We looked at how to engage our boats with features using edge, Eddy spins, turning un the flow and driving the boat along with a range of other tactical applications of skill.

Today the Outdoor Education department welcomed Matt Blackwell Coaching. Matt is a successful paddler who has worked hard to rise through the ranks of canoe and kayak coaching and is a great ambassador for the sport. Matt delivered an impressive presentation which left the students inspired to get out and start exploring the outdoor industry.

OC1 2 hour rollling clinic on the 25th February.

Another successful white water OC1 course with Hakan joining us for a second year and Adrian and Sean's first time with us. This also is the last course of the year! So happy Christmas to all! I will be spending the Christmas and new year in Chamonix skiing so if you are around come say hi!

We look forward to seeing everyone on courses in the new year!

Thanks to we now have some demo 's in Dartmoor for people to try! Hakan Is using one for his 2 days of 1:1 coaching and our white water OC1 weekend.

After a few weeks away working and playing in various places from the bi***es to North Yorkshire to the lakes, I have now returned back to reading to regroup before the next few weeks! Up coming we have some kids courses in Devon, some open canoe work in north wales and some white water OC1 courses on Dartmoor.

I have just had a space open up on a 2 day coaching course for under 18's.
This course consists of 2 days coaching in the Dartmoor area on class II/III white water,
Accommodation (2 nights), evening workshops, all food, equipment if required and transport.

Dates 23rd (evening arrival) -25th October
