LAMBS a' LEAPING
Today, our neighbouring farmer has introduced the first of many lambs into the field which adjoins our rear garden, the outlook of both of our house and of the 'DRY DOCK' holiday retreat. Always long awaited after the width of winter, they are a true joy to behold.
Having not yet gained the full gallop of infancy, the new born are restrained, testing their limbs whilst turning their heads back toward mother, until the leash is extended by the boldest.
Here are some of their forebears in a video performance of the less restrained, same field, taken a few years ago when I caught the lambs in their full exuberance. Can't wait for the new arrivals to catch up.

DRY DOCK

We live in a beautiful part of Wales and we invite you to share a quiet corner of our plot of land. Come and stay in a cosy, compact caravan with good facilities. It is an individual, one-off venue with private entrance and parking. Blessed with lovely views, it is located at the starting point for many adventures, offering a choice of walks along winding rivers and ancient woodlands. A meeting with nature at it's best - many species of birds, lambs leaping in the adjoining field in the Spring, Hedgehogs in the warmer evenings, newt spotting in the garden pond and according to some, a chance of UFO observation. Stay and chill.

Or, find a choice of two pubs (one with food) and and a post office with a general store within ten minutes (at most) walk. Take the wheels and explore the acclaimed Elan Valley, not far, or go to the Brecon Beacons, bit further but so delightful. Here's a few photos, lots more to tell you and lots more photos.

YOU HAVE Comfy double bed, linen and towels provided. Small bathroom with shower. Fridge and two burner hob, cooking utensils, plates etc. Some condiments. Wifi. Dogs allowed by arrangement. Heating if required.

YOU PAY From £50 for one night. From £220 for one week, for two people.
