Day 3 in Disneyland Paris: Our Magical Finale

✨ Our last day at Disneyland Paris was the perfect end to an incredible trip. We took it slow in the morning, enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel to fuel up for our final day of fun. The breakfast spread was dreamy—Mickey waffles 🧇, Mickey cakes 🎂, sweet streaky bacon 🥓, and pastries 🥐. Mmmm, heaven!

Before we even left the hotel, I got the best surprise—Pluto 🐾 jumped into my selfie! A cast member had mentioned he wasn’t doing more photos, so this unexpected moment made my morning extra magical.

Park Highlights

Once we arrived at the parks, our mission was clear: complete the attractions we hadn’t done yet, meet Mickey, and shop ‘til we dropped. Here’s how our day unfolded:

🐭 Meeting Mickey: This was hands-down my favourite part of the day. There’s something so magical about meeting Mickey in person. You get your own private time with him in a cosy room where he signs autographs, takes plenty of photos with you, and makes you feel so special. He’s a true Disney icon, and this moment is one I’ll treasure forever.

🌍 It’s a Small World: A classic ride that we just couldn’t skip. Fair warning though—the song will live in your head rent-free for days 🎶😂.

🔫 Buzz Lightyear’s Laser Blast: We had fun, but I’m convinced my laser gun wasn’t working properly—my score was horrendous! I might need some training from Star Command for next time.

🚗 Autopia: My kids had their “first driving lesson” on this attraction, and let’s just say they’ll need a lot more practice before they’re ready for the road. It was hilarious watching them navigate the track!

🏰 Exploring the Castle: We saved the best for last—the stunning Disneyland Paris castle. Unlike other Disney parks, you can go inside this castle to admire its stained-glass windows and even venture underneath to see the sleeping dragon 🐉. We were lucky enough to see it wake up! It’s a must-see, but it’s a bit hidden, so grab a map or ask a cast member for directions.

Shopping Adventures

No trip to Disney is complete without some retail therapy 🛍️! We treated ourselves to plenty of magical goodies. Let’s just say I was silently praying customs wouldn’t check our boot when we reached the Eurotunnel—closing it was a mission in itself! 😂

Until Next Time

After three days of pure magic, it was time to say goodbye to Disneyland Paris. This trip was unforgettable, and I’m already dreaming of next year’s holidays and adventures.

Day 2 in Disneyland Paris: Shows, Stitch, and the Tower of Terror

Day 2 was packed with magic, shows, and plenty of Disney fun! We decided to focus on seeing as many shows as possible and meeting some characters, and wow, what a day it turned out to be.

First up was my daughter’s highlight of the trip: meeting Stitch! He’s her absolute favourite, so when she got to give him a big hug, her face lit up with pure joy. Sadly, there are no photos I can share because my teenagers have put a strict “no photos of us online” policy in place (cue dramatic eye-roll from me). If you’re a fellow parent of teens, I’m sure you can relate!

The Shows We Watched

We managed to see an impressive lineup of shows, and each one brought something different:

1. Together: A Pixar Musical Adventure
A vibrant, live band performance featuring all your favourite Pixar characters. We loved it and rated it 9/10.

2. The Lion King
This was my personal favourite—breathtaking performances and stunning visuals. A definite 10/10 and an absolute must-see!

3. Holiday Gathering
A festive show on Main Street with all the characters, and it SNOWS! Magical doesn’t even cover it. 10/10.

4. Disney Princess Holidays
Perfect for fans of all ages, with beautiful performances. We gave it a solid 8/10.

5. Doctor Strange
Not really our cup of tea. It was performed on a rooftop, which made it uncomfortable to watch. 4/10 from us.

6. Disney Loves Notre Dame
A limited-edition drone show celebrating the reopening of Notre Dame. Absolutely magical and awe-inspiring. 10/10.

7. Disney Illuminations
This was the grand finale—fireworks, castle projections, and all the classic Disney songs we adore. A stunning 10/10 to end the night!

The Attractions

Between shows, we hopped on as many attractions as possible. Thanks to our priority pass, the longest we waited was around 5 minutes! Our absolute favourite was The Tower of Terror—we couldn’t stop going back. The cast members made the experience so immersive, and if you ride it at night, the view of the parks and castle is breathtaking. Definitely a must-do for any visit.

Dining at Annette’s Diner

For tea, we ate at Annette’s Diner, an American-themed restaurant that pleasantly surprised us. The food was delicious, and the retro vibe was fun. We gave it a 9/10.
