We have had a flurry of enquiries and bookings today so if your sitting planning your 2025 adventures and Northumberland coast is on the list please keep us in mind 🙏

We privately own 6 beautiful properties in Amble, Warkworth and Cresswell including single level and beach front 🏝️

We sleep between 1-8 guests and can cater for most group sizes and budgets 💤

We are dog friendly with no breed restrictions (each property can accomodate different numbers so if you have more than 2 please get in touch - 6 dogs is probably our maximum) 🐕
All have hard floors throughout and fully enclosed gardens (3ft solid wall fence-9ft depending on property) 🐶
Dogs are allowed on sofas with throws but not in beds and theres no additional charges 🛌

Dont have dogs? Our multiple award winning cottages are immaculate and many guests stay without dogs 😊

We are a registered company so you can book with confidence (but not an agency so theres no booking fees to pay and your dealing with us - the owners- every step of the way) - we have 3 dogs ourselves so always offer a degree of flexibility on our standard T&C’s so any questions please ask!

All our properties are designed and furnished to the highest standard with hard floors throughout, fully enclosed outdoor space and yards from the beach (dog friendly all year) and River Coquet (min 3ft solid wall - 9 ft solid wall - please enquire for each individual property)
We also have Hot Tub options in some properties

It might be -1 with a covering of snow but our view is still spectacular 😊
External work has begun on our wonderful beach front seating area and our fully enclosed back garden area which leads from the kitchen bi folds
The View Cresswell is a stunning 2 bedroom 2 ensuite bathroom traditional fishermans cottage with a modern twist and sleeps upto 6 guests and 2 dogs (more by agreement)

As a small family business we are very fortunate that our beautiful properties are always very busy and in demand but when a small gap in the calender appears we jump at the chance to spend some time ourselves with our 🐶 and a few days this weekend staying at The Hideaway Warkworth did not disappoint!!

Warkworth beach (a lovely 10 minute walk) is absolutely beautiful any time of the year but perfect for us in the autumn as it is virtually deserted (although our dogs are friendly, seeing a 10 stone Doberman hurtling towards you showing his best “smile” can make people a little nervous so we only let him off lead when there is no chance he can startle anyone 😂)

The beach walk towards Amble loops back to Warkworth along the coast path and is a great couple of hours (just under 4 miles)
Followed by breakfast at Bertram's and a fantastic evening meal at Masons arms (both dog friendly) the Northumberland Coast is the perfect place for a holiday or short break
We have some availability remaining this October and fantastic winter discounts available for stays up until the end of March 2025
