We love meeting new friends when we are at Wroxham, we were staying in the one bedroom cottage No.23 and the lovely couple who were staying at cottage No.24 took a shine to Dave as did he with them. She took a photo of Dave and painted this amazing picture. 💓

Fishing season starts at 12pm/am. Our guests who are staying at our Willow Reach Holiday Cottage, Wroxham Norfolk Broads and Riverside Reach are not Fishing people but absolutely love the broads and staying in our cottages. Unfortunately the weather is not looking good for next week. Happy Fathers day to all the dad's.

Last of the fishing season and the Heron's are waiting for fish, from the fishing people. They will have to fend for their self until 16th June.

We have been enjoying our cottage and fishing. Caught some nice fish but unfortunately we didn't have our phone to take photos. Quayheading has been done around parts of The Peninsula site and the car park has been risen so easy access to the cottage and will keep the water away. Unfortunately the broads along with everywhere has been affected by the weather 😕. Happy holidays to everyone and looking forward to our guests in the one bedroom in April and guests in both cottages end of May. Still dates available if you want a relaxing holiday on the broads, if fishing or just a base to enjoy Norfolk 😉

It's been a busy few weeks getting Willow Reach and Riverside Reach Cottages on The Peninsula Site, ready for the new fire regulations and guests arriving early February 2024. Both cottages have had a good clean (although Easy Clean North Walsham) do clean the cottages to a high standard. Looking forward to past and New guests enjoying the cottages, from fishing to just relaxing watching the world go by. Walking to Hoverton and the little shops, take away, restaurants, pub, lookings across to Wroxham Hotel and the cafe and day boats not forgetting the famous Roy's of Wroxham, boat trips from day boats to the big Broads Tours boats with information being being told by the pilot. Lot's of beautiful places to visit and most importantly the local people all over Norfolk are very friendly 😊

Plane flew over when I was putting the bin out. It was quite low and was gaining height when I took the photo. Apparently it is a A400m military plane.

Why not try Riverside Reach cottage if there's only two of you? A lovely cottage with a mezzanine floor with a king size bed and shower room. Enclosed veranda suitable for your 4 legs dogs 🐕. On the same site as Willow Reach and a short walk away from Roy's, Hoverton Centre, shops, restaurants, cafe and independent shops 😀

Absolutely Amazing dog, her owner lives in Wroxham and it is the first time I have seen them and got permission to post the photos and video. He paddle boards in England, Wales and Scotland and is teaching her to get the oar to then save him with the paddle and take him back to the paddle board😱
