PCV DRIVERS WANTED
Groundlink Travel is a well-known family-owned transportation company dedicated to delivering exceptional travel experiences. With a long-standing reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction, we specialize in providing comfortable and safe coach journeys for various purposes, ranging from school trips to corporate events.

We're currently seeking a skilled and reliable PCV Driver to join our team at GroundlinkTravel. As a PCV Driver, your primary responsibility will be to safely transport passengers to their destinations in a timely and professional manner, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout the journey.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate our coaches in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
2. Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable travel experience.
3. Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the coach.
4. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
5. Communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues to ensure smooth coordination during trips.
6. Address any passenger inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
7. Maintain accurate tachograph records.

Requirements:

- Valid PCV licence with category D entitlement and CPC qualification card.
- Previous experience as a coach or bus driver.
- Strong emphasis on safety and excellent driving skills.
- Customer-focused attitude with exceptional communication skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
- Strong attention to detail and responsibility towards vehicle maintenance.
- Successful completion of background checks and drug/alcohol screenings.

Rate of Pay:

- Monday to Friday: £13.50 per hour + £1 per hour summer bonus**
- Saturday and Sunday: £15 per hour + £1 per hour summer bonus**
**Summer bonus scheme applicable in May, June, and July.

Contractual Hours:

- Full-time: 35 hours per week + overtime (paid weekly)
- Part-time: 25 hours per week + overtime (paid weekly)
- Casual: Zero hours

Bonuses:

- £25 day bonus for qualifying Rugby jobs.
- £50 day bonus for qualifying Football jobs.
- Weekend rate applies for Bank Holidays.
- Additional £75 for Boxing Day/New Year's Day on top of the weekend rate.
- £25 tax-free overnight allowance.
