The Barefoot Storyteller is a professional oral storyteller and yes, she does tell all her stories in her barefeet! Barefoot storytelling celebrates the art of oral storytelling and is very much a shared experience between the Barefoot Storyteller and her audience. Stories are always highly interactive, keeping young children (from 0 -12) enthralled as their imaginations are allowed to run free. A

lthough the stories may originally come from the pages of a book, Barefoot Storytelling is oral - in other words it is not "story reading". Each performance differs according to the audience - that being the nature of oral storytelling.
