...It has been a very long winter indeed since we waved goodbye to our last guests, who departed just as the lockdown set in... but in the top garden the daffodils and catkins in the sunshine tell us that Spring is nearly here - and we are looking forward to welcoming our first (single-household) guests back to The Coach House next month - they were due to be among our first guests of last year but had to postpone so we are very much looking forward to meeting them at last!

Welcome to the Farm!!

Once upon a time the Coach House was just that - a building where the farmers kept their horse-drawn carts. It is now a cosy and characterful holiday cottage that we have created by always keeping in mind the little comforts and details that we (and our dogs!) would appreciate if we were on holiday ourselves.

We offer home baked bread and local ethically produced milk and eggs in the welcome pack, along with other delicious offerings depending on the season. Outside, there is a lovely wooden summer house where you can sit in peace and read, meditate, or just watch the many little songbirds that we feed every day come and go. The garden has a gas barbeque and is enclosed so that dogs can be off the lead to enjoy the outside space. Inside there is a comfortable king size master bedroom and a cosy second bedroom with a small double bed (from February 2020, when you book you will have the option of requesting the the second bedroom configured as two small single beds or one small double), a bathroom with bath and shower over, a comfortable lounge and a modern kitchen. Facilities include wifi, TV, bluetooth stereos, board games, books, and local artwork and maps showcasing the best of Devon and Dartmoor. A travel cot and high chair are also provided.

Bookings must be made via holidaycottages.co.uk (the property number is 63337) but we will gladly answer your queries here and we would love it if you would like to share your experiences and pictures!
