Thankyou so much to our most recent guests…

When myself and Jim made the somewhat ridiculous but exciting decision to invest in and renovate a property in Swedish Lapland, right on the Finnish border, just south of the Arctic Circle…we had one thing in mind..,

That it could be a place where other people could come and create the most incredible memories.

A place where visitors could switch off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and simply…BE…..

Be present, be engaged, be amazed at the scenery, be together without distraction…

So we were ecstatic to hear our most recent guests had a brilliant time and for the memories they have created which will last a lifetime.

The Aurora was out with full beauty tonight over our Lapland cottage….

On a clear night we have an 80% chance of witnessing the northern lights dancing away..

We thought they weren’t coming tonight after sitting around the campfire waiting with a hot drink and smors …and then just as we were about to go in for the night….out they came!

There is rarely anything quite so magical 🙌🇸🇪🇫🇮🌌❄️

A recent October men’s retreat to our Lapland cottage…not the time of year most people think of visiting but everyone really does miss a trick in ignoring this time of year. For nature lovers, northern lights lovers and stargazers…this is an incredible time of year to visit. And with our 5 hectares of private forest to explore and mountain hikes and trails on both the Finnish and Swedish sides of the Torne river… why not consider an exploration of Lapland in autumn. You won’t regret it!

‘Definitely worth the journey to Santas village.
We had dinner at Lapland View lodge but would recommend doing this during the day time to enjoy the views.
App on iPhone called "Aurora" lets you know where the Northern lights are. We were incredibly lucky to have them directly above the lodge.
