Another fantastic photograph, don't you agree! Who knows why a photo of a man on a tricycle, looking through binoculars and recording something in his notebook using a quill would be one of the images in the CFoW archive of photographs... but it is??!! If you'd like to see more photos from this wonderful project and find out how the project runs, email [email protected] to book a free place on our next Saturday afternoon talk.

P.S. Did you know that Worcester had its own Tricycle Club from the 19th century?

-Talk on Saturday 25th November, 2pm in the Tudor Room
-Donations appreciated
-No wheelchair access to the Tudor Room

Our 2024 calendar is now on sale! Pick up yours in visitor reception for a suggested donation of £7. The perfect Christmas gift for any National Trust lover 🎁

Showcasing beautiful images of Worcestershire properties including ourselves, National Trust - Greyfriars House and Garden, NT Croome and NTTheFirs.

All funds raised go towards looking after these historic places for years to come ❤️

We’re taking part in this month! Come and explore 500 years of history hidden on one of Worcester’s most historic streets at Greyfriars House & Garden ✨

This Saturday 9th and next Saturday 16th September

Step into the Dining Room and you’ll see this extremely rare hand painted wallpaper dating from the reign of George I (1714-27). The three panels retain their original rich colour to this day because they spent much of their life hidden away from light in a reverend’s house.

The Moore siblings who restored Greyfriars in the 20th century would have used this room as a small parlour where they could display their collection of Georgian furniture.
