Directly opposite the property is Moelyci Farm shop and café selling local produce in a delightfully relaxed atmosphere.
And right by the shop are the Snowdonia Donkeys.
Walking and cycle tracks covering the whole area can be accessed from here. It's possible to either walk all the way into Bangor Harbour or, in the other direction, all the way to Llyn Ogwen and then up the mountains. Zip World is only a 3 mile walk along the shared cycle/walking path to Bethesda Quarry if you fancy a hair raising zip wire ride.
Or if you prefer a gentle meander up the small mountain in front of the cottage, there are posted tracks to take up there to. When you get to the top there is a fantastic view of Anglesey and the Menai Straits.
