As we start a New Year of holiday rental , we’ve been looking back at a few of the amazing reviews that have been left in our guest book.
It’s wonderful that so many people have enjoyed staying in our house and we hope to host many more this year.

Our winter 2023 renovations are almost complete! The carpets, bedroom furniture and mattresses have all been replaced and upgraded.
The only remaining work to finish is a replacement front door.
We’re looking forward to welcoming guests in a few weeks time.
With E.V. chargers being at the top of many guests requirements, we have installed a pay per use charger which is compatible with all electric or hybrid vehicles. To ensure everything is compatible, we have installed an untethered charger so make sure you bring your own cable.
Just scan the QR code attached to the charge point and fill in a few details to charge your car😊!
Today we welcome our first guests for 2023 following extensive winter upgrades to the property. We’ve been busy decorating the living areas, changing the main bathroom, tidying the garden and replacing all the carpets upstairs plus a variety of minor changes such as all new crockery and condiment sets.

Our final guests of 2022 have now departed and the house is now closed until February 2023. A huge thanks to all of our amazing guests, both first timers and returning friends!
The house will receive some well deserved renovation and upkeep and we look forward to reopening from February half term.
Our 2022 renovations are complete 😃! All the decorating is finished, our new furniture has arrived and we’ve refreshed the pictures and ornaments. The final piece of the picture will be when the new curtains are fitted next week. We reopen our doors to guests at the beginning of March once the annual safety inspection has taken place.
Our winter renovations are nearing completion as we get ready to welcome guests back for 2022. The internal decor has changed to a beautiful sea green and some of the new furniture has arrived. We’re now only waiting for one chair and some new shelving before we’ve completed the upgrades for the summer!

We’ve completed a little mid season gardening today. The house is now ready for our next guests to enjoy the garden and the current amazing weather!!

Renovations complete!! With our first guests arriving on Monday, we’ve had a big push to finish the internal work which was completed yesterday! We’ve repainted the entire house externally, refreshed the internal decor and re-tiled the Jack and Jill bathroom. In addition to this, we’ve removed the brick BBQ and added a slate top to give the perfect spot for disposable BBQ’s to be used. This is both for COVID precautions and safety considerations. Happy holidays everyone....😃
Upgrades completed! The guest bathroom has been completely re-tiled and the house has been externally repainted. These improvements along with some minor internal painting means that we’re ready to accept guests once the easing of restrictions allow. Looking forward to a long hot summer 😃🤞
Preparation is in full swing for welcoming guests as soon as we’re allowed. The guest bathroom is getting a full re-tile along with the outside being repainted and some of the bedrooms being spruced up. Thanks to Martin for completing the work so quickly.
An amazing review from our first guests since lockdown!
We booked in January, before Covid was an issue, and were lucky enough to enjoy the holiday we planned. There were 8 of us, myself and my wife with our two youngest children (13 year old twins) and our daughter with her husband and their two young children, 6 & 2. The house was wonderful, with ever changing views over the sea and towards Snowdonia, one minute bathed in sun and the next invisible in the misty rain.
Very comfortable and spacious. Well laid out, well equipped and plenty big enough for all of us not to get under each other's feet.
Wonderful sea front and coastal walks, very close by, which was useful for walking our labrador.
We are seriously considering coming back next year.

We have recently added a spotting scope for our guests use. This allows visitors to view as far as Puffin island and the Great Orne in amazing clarity. It’s great for bird watching or spotting marine traffic.
