South Lakes Safari Zoo 🦒 We are having some time in the Lake District this week and our visit to the Sarafi Zoo was fantastic 🦁 So many animals and they all have alot more freedom than some places we have been before. You see some of the animals really close up and we took the opportunity to pay to hand feed the giraffes which we absolutely loved🦒 you could feed lots of the different animals so that's worth checking if you plan a visit! We managed to get half price tickets as we booked online in the morning before arriving which is a brilliant summer offer - well worth buying in advance as you could actually use the tickets any day up to the 31st August so depending on the weather you can go when suits best ☀️ We spent 4 hours here and we bought hotdogs from one of the cafes for lunch (picnics are not allowed inside the Zoo but you can go back to your car to have one) We were pleasantly surprised at the food prices and we thought they were very reasonable 🌭 Theo was given a map and there were little stations around the zoo to look out for.
