Two days are never the same one day at a craft show the next assisting a delivery of a new cria on the farm.

A couple of snapshots capturing holiday guests relishing exclusive moments with my adorable babies. My two alpaca babies are gradually getting accustomed to human interaction, especially Acorn, who is beginning to appreciate a gentle brush. On the other hand, the goats had no issues interacting with our visitors. This year's bookings are filling up quickly, but we still have some openings in April and September. Who's up for some farmtastic fun?

I found it hard to be productive with these two cuties to cuddle with in the barn today. I’m slowly getting them used to being handled, brushed and cuddled, but they kept distracting me so we played photoshoot instead.

🦙 Meet Lucy the alpaca. She joined us this summer with her adorable son, Merlin. 😍 Lucy is such a loving mum and is very protective. But like all mums she enjoys those solo moments and will sometimes hang back in the barn for that little extra attention 💕 It’s quite heartwarming to have those little moments, especially with a new member of the team. Why wear an oversized alpaca and mohair blanket scarf?

Not only has it been made from my animals natural fibres fed mainly on meadow grass. My design was then made into fabric at a local welsh organic mill with an amazing low footfall from my farm.

Once discarded after hundreds of moons, this animal -derived product will naturally decompose placing valuable nutrients back into our earth.

So when your wrapping an alpaca and mohair luxury blanket scarf around your shoulders your not only protecting yourself from the cold weather today but your doing so with the knowledge that from start to finish your helping to protect our planet.

Love

I’m lucky to be able to watch how my tribe of alpacas all interact with each other. Each take their roles very well. Yesterday the youngsters were all playing and aunty thought she had better check Acorn was alright.

New baby- can I introduce you to Acorn.
Rachel gave birth to a beautiful little girl yesterday. I instantly knew she is my little acorn. She is so small and cute, but if she takes after her mum she will eventually grow to be very big.

Name help. This little lad needs a name. As a family we can’t agree and so far we’ve come up with Stitch, Cadbury, Wilbur, Teddy and my favourite Bear. One rule it has to be cute.

This is T-Rex she sounds aggressive with vocals but she is actually having a conversation with you and allows you time to answer, unless I’m late with her food ,she a routine girl, and gives me a vocally good telling off.
