Land Rover Adventures One Life. Discover it. The best thing about owning any Land Rover product is that the whole world is open to you to explore.

Land Rover Adventures is not a business and we are not associated to Land Rover. We are more of a club with no membership fees. We organise trips that we want to do and others are welcome to join us.

On this day in 1948 the first Land Rover was shown to the public at the Amsterdam Motor Show and our obsession was born.

Three Land Rovers were taken to Amsterdam for launch of this new concept in 4×4 vehicles. At the time, nobody realised that the Land Rover would become the most popular off-road vehicle in the world.

One of the original vehicles was found in 2016 and rebuilt by Land Rover Classic https://media.landrover.com/news/2019/09/original-launch-land-rover-returns-road-first-time-1960s

Let's see your Land Rover rebuilds.

We've just about recovered from the Great British Land Rover Show and it's on to the Gaydon Land Rover Show this weekend, the 3rd and 4th May. We'll be camping at the show Friday and Saturday night and then on to a local campsite Sunday night for a pilgrimage to Caffeine & Machine, a must for any petrolhead.

Drop us a message if you fancy joining us or just want to find out more about us and our adventures.

Celebrate all things Land Rover at this popular show among Land Rover fans and families.

☀️ The weather's looking up! That means camping trips and Land Rover shows are just around the corner. Get ready to roll out!

We've been busy at LRA HQ, swapping onto summer tyres, fitting roof tents, scouting out camp sites and buying more Land Rovers, having added a cheeky little D4 to our fleet.

Anyone else rocking a D3/D4 as their Adventure Partner?

Calling all Land Rover owners in the South West! 👀

We're keen to see as many Land Rovers as possible at this event by Cars & Cuppas

Here's what they have to say:

You would’ve seen our announcement for our first themed Land Rover meet in collaboration with ☕️

For our February meet, we are planning a BIG Land Rover event which includes an afternoon drive out to Dartmoor where we will explore some driving roads, grab some photos and stop for a cuppa and a bite to eat 😋

We will be meeting on Sunday 16th February at like we usually do every month, the main car park will be themed for Land Rovers and the second car park will be for everything else, so all cars are welcome as always 🫡

It’ll run exactly the same as our usual events, it’ll start at 9am and finish at 12pm, those that want to can then join us from Greendale on a drive to Dartmoor 🏕️

You can grab your tickets on www.carsandcuppas.com/events 🎟️

We hope to see you there 🛻

Who, Why, Where, When?

Who?

Just a group of friends who own Land Rovers and love travel. ‘Land Rover Adventures’ is no one person or a specific group of people. We have a core group of members spread over the UK, from Cornwall to Scotland. As for cars, the first requirement is that it must be a Land/Range Rover. It should be reliable (as reliable as any Land Rover can be) and should be capable of driving at the speed limits of Europe – so able to sit comfortably at 80 MPH safely for hours. Realistically this should allow all Green Ovals from Defenders to Freelanders to join us!

Why?

We love to travel, sometimes solo, sometimes one or two of us and sometimes as a group. Travelling as a group brings a whole new dynamic as does travelling with new people. There is security when travelling to remote areas as a group and there are new ideas, opinions and conversations when meeting new people.
