The Old Coach House, like .Doey.Portstewart, is accessible and disabled friendly. There is off street parking for up to four cars, and the parking area is adjacent to the front door, with no steps.
Once inside, the ground floor is completely flat with easy access to three double bedrooms, one of which is en suite, a family bathroom and a separate large shower in a dedicated ground floor room.

The Old Coach House looks out over The Atlantic, next stop Americayy.
The perfect place for family and friends to rest and relax after a day of sightseeing, swimming, walking or any of the myriad of activities, (or inactivities), that the Causeway Coast has to offer.
Chat in the lounge, or relax in the sunroom with a book from the well stocked shelves, while the kids have games or watch a cartoon in the playroom. Rufus isn’t forgotten either ; he can have the run of two fully enclosed gardens while he waits for his evening walk by the shore in the setting sun.

If you’re staying at cottages this year, particularly .doey.portstewart or .coach.house.portstewart and you need ideas to entertain the children on those days when the sun isn’t shining, (seldom, I know, but it does happen), then look no further. We have lots of suggestions.
You can check out to see if they have spaces for classes in their chocolate factory, or just take them to the scrumpilitious shop for a treat. Or drive over to to treat them, and you, to full cream delicious milk straight from their farm, and pick up some vegetables while you’re there.
Pop down to for a coffee and pop a couple of packs of packets of wheaten bread mix. Great to keep in the cupboard for a day when they’re bored. Just mix with buttermilk to bake their very own wheaten bread!
If they would like to go further afield, drive to Bellaghy and treat them to a few hours engrossed in words and language under the guiding eye of the wonderful ladies in while you immerse yourself in the influences which inspired this literary genius. They’ll come away with a new love of words and language.
Before you visit the Causeway Coast check out what craft classes are available from to keep them engrossed for a couple of hours. They’ll love it, and there are classes for adults too!

The Old Coach House sleeps twelve comfortably and is a few minutes walk from Portstewart promenade and the harbour, although with panoramic views over the Atlantic you may not want to venture too far from your comfortable lounge armchair.
Perfect for a winter weekend break or a summer week with friends, family and the dog, (yes, there are a couple of July/August weeks still available, but you would need to be quick!).
Whether your idea of heaven is golfing, swimming, walking, surfing, reading, eating, exploring or sightseeing, this is your perfect space to come back to.

Spend a few days with your extended family and friends on The Causeway Coast before winter closes in. Take your dogs for a beach walk, or down a country lane with leaves crunching underfoot.

Old Coach Road Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Noir when you arrive at The Old Coach House or The Doey for your relaxing break on the Causeway Coast. Come and enjoy the last rays as the sun sinks into the sea. Wrap up and go crabbing, explore the rock pools, play golf, bowl, cycle, go sightseeing, but come back to your home from home to watch the sunset through a glass.
