AS SEEN ON TV - CAPE TOWN & SOUTH AFRICA'S WINELANDS - FROM £2,569
Every day this week on ITV, Take That star Gary Barlow is exploring South Africa, beginning with a visit to the heart of the country's winelands, Franschhoek.
This independent itinerary allows you to experience the diverse landscapes of South Africa, from spotting Whales in Hermanus, saving the produce of the winelands and exploring vibrant Cape Town, including a scenic helicopter ride!
CAPE TOWN - 4 NIGHTS
Spend 4 nights in Cape Town where you can experience everything this exciting city has to offer. Included in your stay is a helicopter sightseeing tour, taking you above the dramatic landscape to see sights such as Table Mountain and the unforgettable peaks for the Twelve Apostles.
You will also have an included private city tour, seeing Cape Town with a local. Take a cable car to the top of Table Mountain before trying local street food in Bo-Kaap. Finish off your dayw ith a visit to Boulders Beach, home to a colony of cute African penguins.

FRANSCHHOEK - 3 NIGHTS
This historic town is the gourmet capital of South Africa and offers centuries-old vineyards and fine examples of Cape Dutch architecture. Many of the wine farms are named after French towns as a reminder of the 17th century French Huguenots who began laying the first vineyards here.Your base for the next three nights, Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa, is surrounded by magnificent mountain vistas. You may wish to go for dinner at one of the many excellent restaurants nearby.
Included in your stay is a trip on the famed Franschhoek WIne Train, a vintage-style tram that runs through the valley. On this curated tour, accompanied by a wine ambassador, you will visit three wine estates. By the end of the tour, you will know a lot more about winemaking and wine. Walk through vineyards learning how to identify the different grape varieties, visit cellars to learn more about the winemaking process and enjoy tastings and pairings, as well as a three-course lunch (paired with wine of course).
Also included is a Bikes and Wine Meander, a leisurely guided ride through the winelands, stopping at various wineries for more tastings and taking in stunning scenery.
