The three storey mews-style cottage on the River Yealm, just 1 mile from two of my favourite coves, sleeps 8 and is very dog friendly - please note the garden isn't enclosed though.
There are kayaks for paddling to any of our three fantastic waterfront pubs, rackets for a game of tennis at the home courts, and garden furniture for hanging out by the riverside to chill and maybe do a spot of BBQing....

"We had a lovely relaxing stay at Anchor cottage for a long weekend. We appreciated the welcome hamper on arrival and the cottage was lovely and clean. A beautiful area with so much to see. Had the beach to myself today, it does make getting changed back into warm clothing a bit quicker!
Last post on cold water swimming for a bit I promise 😂 if I've not managed to convert you maybe a holiday at Anchor Cottage may do the trick....
We have two excellent beaches in walking distance that are great for swimming any time of the year.
Or you could paddle board or kayak on the water....
Or you can simply take a stroll and finish with a drink by the fire in one of our three excellent local pubs.
Btw this is Devon so naturally we're dog friendly 🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾

When it's time to get out!
Someone told me - a lovely fellow coldwater swimmer who we met in North Devon last year on a swimming break - that you should only stay in the water for as many minutes as the degree temperature of the water. So 12 degrees = 12 minutes.
I had to swim hard to keep warm this week!

Okay so the weather wasn't that great and it was too rough to swim but had a brilliant time with my sisters last weekend!
Went to see the rather amazing Wolf Alice! In Plymouth...AND it only took us 20 minutes to drive back to Anchor Cottage! Now that things are opening back up again it's wonderful that Noss Mayo is so close to such a vibrant city with some great venues for live bands, theatre and restaurants!
Okay so strictly speaking they weren't in school today thanks to Storn Eunice but I am soooo pleased to turn off the 6.30am alarm for the week!!! Whatever you're up to this week have a great time, we deserve it!!!

Well the great thing about being on the South Devon coast is that you get to experience Storm Eunice nice and early!!!! Keep safe everyone, it was blowing a proper hoolie this morning when I was cleaning Anchor Cottage.
