Been a bit quiet on the old socials lately – so much going on getting everything ready in time for the summer season! It’s all so exciting and I seriously cannot wait! 😬

But for now...🥴😄 this stunning and not very well known Grade II listed monument is called the “Bulkeley Monument”, and is found just outside the popular seaside town of Beaumaris.
It was erected towards the end of the 19th century to commemorate Sir Richard Bulkeley Williams Bulkeley who was a prominent figure in Beaumaris at the time, and one of the main figures in turning the town into the seaside resort that we know and love today ❤️ ....with the help of a 13th century castle of course! 😄

If you’re over that side of the island it’s worth taking 20 minutes to pop up to check it out, makes for a lush evening walk too, even if it's just to admire the incredible views of Snowdonia.. Well worth it!👌🏻

Well, Happy Mothers Day, Sul y Mamau Hapus 💐

It's been a surprisingly nice day here on Anglesey today, makes a change from what feels like the never ending winter ! 🥴

These weren't taken today, but they could've been with that sunshine....

The Rhuddgaer Stepping Stones. These are GIANT stepping stones that stop you from getting wet feet on a little part of the coastal path, not too far from Newborough.  These enormous boulders link the two banks of the Afon Braint which is a tidal river, so it sometimes appears to be flowing backwards! 😄  If you're lucky, and are there at just the right time, you can apparently hear the tide turn.

This whole corner of the island is simply stunning, and an awful lot of it completely untouched. Pack a nice picnic, and your wellies, and go check it out 👌🏻

Seeing as I've suddenly got so many more followers, I thought I should perhaps introduce myself!
I'm Charlotte, and I was born and raised on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey in North Wales.
We get sooo many tourists on our gorgeous little island every year, and everybody knows the tourist hotspots, but there's so much more to see!

I'll be taking bookings for tours very soon, and am genuinely SO excited to get cracking and show off this magical place that I and so many others call home 😊
From ancient ruins to stunning hidden coves, we've got everything, and more!

Stay tuned! ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
