🇦🇺🇦🇺 Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺
🗻1. The Australian Alps get more snow than the Swiss Alps
While many people visit Australia for its brilliant beaches and year-round sunshine, the Australian Alps, straddling New South Wales and Victoria, are a mecca for skiing enthusiasts. Snow usually falls between June and September, meaning Australia is the perfect place to get your skiing fix during the northern hemisphere summer.
🌊2. 90% of Australians live on the coast
The large deserts of central Australia mean that the vast majority of the population live on the shores of this enormous country. The large cities of Perth, Sydney and Melbourne are iconic places to visit, with buzzing centres and a multitude of beaches, from the sands of Bondi to the surf of Trigg. Outside of the major hubs, there are hundreds of smaller beach towns where you can appreciate Australia's beautiful coastline.
💨3. Tasmania has the cleanest air in the world
The island of Tasmania is the ideal spot to experience the great outdoors - with air as clean as Antarctica, around one-third of the state is a national park or World Heritage protected. It is a walkers paradise, with trails and walkways winding over the whole island, where the coastal paths reveal impressive views over Wineglass Bay and the Bay of Fires.
🐠4. The Great Barrier Reef is the largest eco-system in the world
The Great Barrier Reef is the pride and joy of Australia, made up of nearly 2,500 individual reefs and visible from space. It stretched halfway down the eastern coast of the country, meaning there are plenty of places to use as jumping-off points to explore the kaleidoscopic coral.
🍷5. Australia has over 60 separate wine regions
You can't go to Australia and not try the wine! With such a huge variety of wine regions, it's hard to choose between them. The majority of the wine regions are in New South Wales and Victoria so if you fancy discovering a few of them a road trip between Sydney and Melbourne

This beautiful award winning property is only a ten-minute drive from the cobbled streets of Polperro and the bustling harbour town of Looe, this studio apartment is a countryside hideaway. Part of a converted hotel, the home is set in the rolling fields of Cornwall. We love to run an evening bath in the outdoor tub and watch the sunset over the hills. The small plot is great for a solo stay or romantic retreat – with a comfy king-size bed and small kitchenette to cook up light meals and breakfasts. The hosts are particularly attentive and bursting with recommendations and helpful tips. Lace up your walking boots: there are paths to explore on the four acres of land the home is set on, or drive to the nearby South West Coast Path for tramps over coastal cliffs. On sunny days, it's a quick journey to Cornwall's most beautiful beaches. We love Lantic Bay, a sheltered cove that's only accessible by foot, for a sense of privacy. For dinner, it's best to head out and make the most of the abundance of seafood in this region.

🌊1. Jordan Is Home To The Dead Sea
⬇️2. The Dead Sea Is The Lowest Point On Earth
This is an amazing fact about Jordan. Yes, the Dead Sea is really, really low altitude. It’s actually so low that the shores around the lake account for the lowest point of elevation on the planet, at 480 meters below sea level. The bottom of the lake is 728 meters below sea level.
⛱3. Jordan’s Only Real Shoreline Is The Red Sea
Rhyming with the Dead Sea, which is actually a lake, the Red Sea is Jordan’s only true shoreline. And it’s a short one at that – only 16 miles long. It’s otherwise pretty landlocked. However, the town of Aqaba on the Red Sea coast offers up some prime diving among colorful reefs that makes up for the lack of long coastal retreats.
💥4. In 363 AD, Jordan Experienced A Huge Earthquake
A seismic event of monumental proportions damaged a lot of buildings and took a lot of lives almost 2,000 years ago across the area now known as Jordan. One of the most prominent structures to suffer was Petra, being literally carved into the rock.
🏛5. Petra Is Jordan’s Most Famous Sight
In fact, it’s one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It’s a beautiful sight to see, we have to say. First settled more than 10,000 years ago, it was established as the capital of the formerly nomadic Nabataean Arabs around the 4th century BC. It’s so famous that it’s been a filming location for loads of movies, including Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Classic.
🗺6. Jordan Is An Important Spot Between Africa, Europe, And Asia
🛖7. There Are Over 100,000 Archaeological (And Tourist) Sites In Jordan!
Jordan really is packed with old stuff to see. There’s Petra, of course, Jerash, Al-Maghtas, Mount Nebo, and Ajulun Castle – all some of the most iconic places to visit, Tourism is a huge deal in Jordan; it employs a lot of people.

Dubai 🗺🗺🗺🗺🗺
1. It’s a very young city
In the early 1700s, Dubai was just a small fishing and pearl-diving village. By the end of the 18th century, about 1,200 people were living there. Fast-forward to today, Dubai has a population of 3.3 million. Before the discovery of oil, pearls and gold were highly sought after trading items.
2. It’s bird watchers paradise
Bird-watchers will be thrilled to hear that there are over 320 bird species that migrate between Europe, Asia, and Africa via Dubai. During the spring and fall, birds such as spotted eagles, broad-billed sandpipers, and greater herons pass through the city. They can be seen on a visit to Ras al Khor Wildlife Santuary and a falcony safari is a must for bird-lovers young and old. Experience the traditional sport of falconry first-hand with a greater spotted eagle, Harris’ hawk, and desert eagle owl.
3. Its tallest building is based on a flower
The world’s tallest building, at 2,716 feet, the Burj Khalifa needs no introduction. An icon in the Dubai skyline, this building should be on your Dubai bucket list. Zip to the 148th floor to see the city below. A fun Dubai fact is that the design of the building is based on a local desert flower, hymenocallis, also known as the spider lily.
4. Its cuisine is truly cosmopolitan
Being a trading center for centuries has meant that food from all over the world has influenced Dubai cuisine. Along with traditional Arabic food, you’ll find spices from India, ingredients from Persia, and eastern Mediterranean influences.
5. Its art scene is flourishing
The annual international art fair, Art Dubai, features artists from the Middle East, South East Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Australasia. This cutting-edge event focuses on contemporary artworks that relate to cultural heritage. Visit the Dubai Design District to explore its galleries and shops, or take a personal gallery tour along Alserkal Avenue to see what’s happening on the local sc

🇲🇪Miniscule Montenegro packs a lot of beauty and adventure into its tiny borders. But since it’s only been a country in its own right since 2006, we bet there’s a lot you don’t know about Montenegro. From its own set of commandments to a fake prince, Montenegro has a lot going on behind those picturesque beaches. Here are 11 things you never knew about Montenegro.
🏔Land of the black mountain
Although it’s known as a stunning summer destination because of its sun-drenched beaches, Montenegro is named for its mountains. With its origins in Italian, ‘monte’ means mountain and ‘negro’ means black, hence Montenegro or Crna Gora as it’s called in Montenegrin.
🏝There are 117 Beaches
Speaking of beaches, Montenegro has 117 of them along 293 kilometers of coastline. There are rocky ones, sandy ones, tiny hidden ones and glorious pink pebble ones. Visitors to the tiny country are spoiled for choice! In this case, a picture really is worth a thousand words.
🦩It’s a bird-watcher’s paradise
Montenegro’s Lake Skadar is one of the biggest bird reserves in Europe. It’s home to over 270 bird species and is a vitally important stop for migrating birds. Among the most popular on the lake are the Dalmatian Pelicans. Efforts to protect their breeding grounds have yielded good results and now visitors can take a trip in a traditional čun boat to see the birds. Along with majestic pelicans, visitors can expect to see pygmy cormorants, storks, egrets, ibises, herons and falcons.
📖It has its own set of commandments
Montenegrins are known to be very relaxed. In that effort, they have their own set of commandments to live by. Among them are: “Love thy bed as you love thyself”; “If you see someone resting, help him”; and “If you have the urge to work, sit down, wait and you’ll see it will pass.” Maybe this is why Montenegrins are always so happy!

🇭🇺Hungary 🇭🇺
1. Budapest has the second oldest underground in the World
With the operations beginning in 1896, Metro Line 1 in Budapest is part of the UNESCO World Heritage and is the second oldest underground railway in the world, predated only by the London Underground. Taking a ride on it might feel like time travel.
2. Are Hungarians always angry?
Have you ever had the chance to listen to Hungarians talking to each other? If yes, what was your first thought? Was it strange, funny or did it sound like we are always arguing? Did you think that it is a language you could never learn? Don’t Worry! Sometimes even we get confused! A fun fact about Hungary is, that our language is truly unique and is said to be one of the hardest languages to learn in Europe as there is no other language similar to it. The main reason for this is that the language originates from the steppe of Central Asia and the ancestors of the Hungarian tribes who founded Hungary.
3. Here you can become a good writer with a single touch
There is a legend in Budapest which says that if you touch the pen of the statue of an anonymous writer which sits in the City Park near the Heroes' Square, then you could become a great writer. The statue looks a little like the grim reaper, but is said to represent the chronicler of Hungarian King Béla.
4. Hungary has more than 1300 thermal water springs
5. Hungary is home to the world’s first official wine region?
6. There is a Hungarian hand behind the discovery of Vitamin-C
7. Rubik's Cube was invented by a Hungarian architect
8. Something in which we are just one place behind New York
Budapest has the second largest synagogue in the world, after New York. With a seating capacity of 3,000 people, the Dohany Street Synagogue is the largest in Europe and part of the Unesco World Heritage Site.
9. Is Pálinka the heal for all pain?
10. The magic number in Hungary: 96
