The Southwold Tourist Information Story
Since the closure of the Tourist Information Centre in Southwold at the end of April 2016, a new website was independently created and officially launched on 1 May 2016 (ie. not affiliated with or funded by any council or tourism body) to offer as similar service as possible albeit purely online - with general information freely available including useful information, accommodation, things to do, places to go and local events in Southwold and the surrounding local areas. Enquiries welcomed.
Nb. Southwold Tourist Information receives a small income from various businesses to advertise on the Southwold Tourist Information website www.southwoldtouristinformation.co.uk which helps to cover costs incurred from running the website. Both paid advertisers and non-advertisers are also freely promoted on various social networking sites whether by sharing images, posts or a copy of adverts, offers, events, posters, competitions, news items etc.
These are not my personal endorsements, recommendations or reviews. If as a Facebook user you see something on the Southwold Tourist Information page that you do not personally like or agree with then feel free to contact either myself or the business direct, however unless the business closes or an event cancels it is unlikely that the item will be removed solely because of your personal opinion. You also have the freedom of scrolling past the post or unliking the page.
