Lovely walk earlier with Heidi and Bethan around the Ruperra Castle area. The original plan was Waen Fach but thought it could have been pretty poor conditions up there today !

Thanks to Simon Jones and Matt Levan for joining me on a 11km walk around Hay on Wye today. For once it stayed dry although muddy underfoot in places... but on the plus side Simon saw deer..😊

Very lucky with the weather today on a Walkabout Wales hike today...Guided a lovely Singaporean couple, Dhashni and Prassatt in the very quiet, (today!) Waterfalls Area of the Bannau Brecheiniog. Both liked bird watching and we identified Dunnetts, Great t**s, Dippers, Blue t**s, Thrushes, Sparrows, nuthatches, Kites and lots of these little fellas....

Hey Darren James Walker ! Up for another trip to Bhutan again and the 'Snowman' trek ! 😂 It's just gotten a whole lot cheaper !! 🤣 (Mind you that is according to the Express and you know they make things up !! 🤣) Perhaps you could make it this time to the Tigers Nest monastery and not be put off by Dutch women and dead bodies on the way up !! 🤣

Good hike/recce today in the Black mountains with Matt Levan ...Stiff climb up on to the summit of Pen Y Gadair Fawr then along the Cambrian Way to Waun Fach before hitting Pen Y Manllwyn and the return path along the Grwyne Fawr and the car park

A wonderful day guiding these lovely people in the Waterfalls Area of the Brecon Beacons National Park... 😊 But, it was the busiest I've ever seen it... Queues to actually get down to Sgwrd Y Eira! I guess thats the insta effect on all these lovely spots... 😬 Can't recommend the cafi Sgwrd Gwladys enough...super coffee and breakfast there before the guests arrived...
