Custom-made stained glass skydome, by Atelier Loire
Specialising in the beautiful art of stained glass, Bruno Loire works in the studio that his grandfather began in 1946. For Coquelicot's iconic skydome, he created the unique design using seven different colours of textured glass, before cutting and setting each piece of glass in lead, a traditional technique used since the Middle Ages. The centrepiece of the lounge, the sensational skydome pays homage to Champagne’s water mapping legacy.

Tone-on-tone hand-painted ‘coquelicot’ petals fill the corridors, inspired by the boat's namesake. By its moniker, the coquelicot is a nod to discovery, a journey past appearances and a study of what lies beneath the surface. Through experimentation with non-traditional materials and textures, Patricia and her team of talented painters created stunning wallcoverings, playing with texture, light and depth.

Tasked with creating two spring landscapes, Amelie’s art blurs the lines between photography and painting. Finding inspiration in pointillism, Amelie created the two pieces with an artistic escape in mind. Winter scenes were layered with superimposed fields of flowers, painted in bright, springtime shades. Oil paint was used to bring an exquisite shine, offering a surrealistic end result.
