Our cruise started in Trieste, my first time sailing from here and I get a lot of questions about this port. The town is beautiful, lots of stunning building and lots of bars and restaurants to choice from if you staying overnight. I would recommend staying here if you want to get away from Venice itself.
The transfer from Venice airport was 1 hour 30 mins and we had a private transfer as we were a party of 8, alternative transfer is a bus or train.
The cruise terminal is right in the town and for us a short walk of about 700 yards from our hotel.

Food glorious food! The diet starts tomorrow 😂 food as always didn’t disappoint, Cagneys, Food Republic, The Local, Los Lobos, The Bistro, Hudsons…..the best food at sea!

Back from a fantastic family holiday onboard Norwegian Viva! Absolutely loved this ship, the last 9 days I’ve been busy in the spa, on the go karts, watching Beetlejuice the musical, listening to some amazing live music, and having a great time!

🗺 A new season of incredible sailings is here!

The new 2026 spring/summer season includes nearly 250 sailings to the Caribbean, Bahamas, Bermuda and Alaska from nine major ports across the country, including the return to the Port of Philadelphia. On April 16, 2026, Norwegian Jewel will commence seven-to-nine-day cruises to Bermuda, launching the city as a new cruise destination.
