Decoration and Renovation- We cover all aspects of decorating (including faux finishing) and renovation from bespoke interiors to commercial properties. All projects will be considered with design also available as an option. Our decorators have experience in high specification work from yachts to country homes and provide a range of techniques to suit your desired style, always ensuring work is proper and that the finish is paramount. Restoration of furniture is also available. We have an accomplished carpenter and a brickwork specialist, both with experience new and old buildings and we are always expanding. All projects are undertaken always with paying careful attention and respect to the property and its environment. Preservation- The upkeep of our national heritage is extremely important to us. We believe that the preservation of a property is important not only to the client, but also to the amazing history that each building encompasses. With the upmost care to adhere to whichever past rules each project is governed by, we provide most aspects of preservation work such as damp proofing, structural timber care and furniture restoration, masonry repair, re-pointing, metal and iron working and many more conservation techniques. Chimneys and Fireplaces- At Murray Town & Country Preservation we also provide a full range of services for flue fitting and maintenance. We have a full affiliated chimney sweep with the Institute of Chimney Sweeping and offer full cleaning of all items associated with burning, cooking or heating, no matter what the age. 'Spinning' and other effective, specialist cleaning services such as CCTV inspections are available. A flue fitting and lining service is also available for the reopening of damaged or old chimneys.
