The Green Man Festival at Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park (Official) is finally here!! And, so is the sun😎On all weekend and a fab, family day out.

Only a few more days until the Green Man Festival this weekend here at Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park (Official) . There's lots to see and do for all the family, plus plenty of wide open spaces to enjoy and relax in. The event, running from 10am-4pm on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May, is free to enter and all day parking is available for £5 per vehicle. We look forward to welcoming you 😍

The Green Man Festival at Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park (Official) is back next weekend! This is a wonderful event attracting cuisine and crafts from across Cornwall and the South West. A must on a weekend itinerary if you're visiting 27th and 28th May.

Not long to go! The Green Man Weekend is nearly upon us and preparations are going full steam ahead. We can't wait to see the Green Man back on the Avenue here at the park!

There will be music, food, entertainment and lots more for you to enjoy at this free to enter event here at Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park (Official) on 27th and 28th May. The event is open from 10am-4pm on both days.

Some good info on SW coastal path walks between Looe and Polperro.

Have you walked from Polperro to Looe or vice-versa?

We know we are biased, but ‘our‘ section of the SW Coast Path has to be one of the most stunning of the whole 630 miles coastal walk.

Whether you set off from Looe or Polperro, the walk is a little over 5 miles and takes around 3-4 hours (that will depend on how many times you stop to admire the vistas or how long you take to eat a cream eat on route!).

Plan your day out and ask yourself these questions

1. Do I want to walk there & back? If so, set off in time to enjoy lunch in either Looe or Polperro before walking back;

2. Do I want to walk in one direction? Don’t worry, you can still stop for lunch, or an early dinner; however, you can take the No 72/72A or No 481 bus service in one direction or, when the weather & tides permit, the boat too;

3. If you have young ones with you, why not walk from Polperro or Looe to Talland? It’s a beautiful bay and you can enjoy a snack at Talland Bay Beach Cafe(Talland is 1/3 of the way from Polperro to Looe, 2/3 in the other direction

How about this for breakfast with a view? 15 mins drive from Chi-Lowen Airbnb with lots of parking, super dog friendly and the rustic food at The Canteen at Maker Heights is quite simply delicious, changes regularly as it’s always in season. Off the beaten track on the way to Mount Edgcumbe.

We love this Sunday market at RWY Royal William Yard in Plymouth, returning this weekend. Accessible by car via the Torpoint ferry, or (and this is our own personal recommendation) combine with a trip to Mount Edgcumbe where you can park and pop across on foot via the Cremyll Ferry , direct to RWY for some lunch and a wander around the market. A great place to pick up speciality foods and beautiful, locally made gifts. The House at Mount Edgecumbe Country Park reopens to visitors this Sunday too so it's a perfect add-on for a full day out.
