I have been lucky enough to be invited on an educational trip with to experience a Ski holiday to Flaine !
Although I have booked many ski holidays for my clients I haven’t actually been skiing myself so this was an opportunity I couldn’t resist!

True example of why booking a holiday through me is different than a few clicks and booking online…..
Clients came to me wanting a last minute 2 week holiday to Mauritius all inclusive.
Our original hotel of choice had sold out so I gave 2 alternative hotels around the same standard and price bracket.
Once we decided on hotel and which dates were best to fit around family arrangements it was all ready to go!
Availability of the last rooms left at the hotel was very low and when we came to book on Saturday the room we wanted was no longer available for the full duration.
If you had booked this online you would have got a message saying ‘booking failed’ and your back to square one on your own.
With me, my supplier held the flights so we didn’t loose them or the price increase whilst we spoke to the hotel directly of which we have a very close relationship with.
By Monday, we have the hotel we wanted with a split stay and upgraded an room, all for not extra cost to my client.
Now … can a computer do that?

I was lucky enough to have a site inspection and day pass here whilst in Mexico on holiday and WOW this hotel is something else ! The only all inclusive in Tulum centre … adult only.. 5* Luxury hotel with its own exclusive beach club! Firstly I have to say the decor and design OMG .. beautiful! Home Inspo right here ! Rooms are stunning, they are loads of swim out rooms as well as some with their own rooftop terrace and plunge pools! The resort design is inspired by Cenotes so the buildings are circular all facing into lovely pool areas. Lots of gorgeous a la carte restaurants and bars but the best bit is jumping in the free shuttle to their beach club down in an amazing spot on Tulum beach! YAY!! IT’S HEDGE TRAVEL’S 7th BIRTHDAY !! To tell you the truth… I thought it was 6 years but covid must have wiped me out for a year ! So I started Hedge Travel back in December 2016 after returning from 6 weeks travelling around Philippines on my own. I had always wanted my own business and always loved planning trips so when I found @notjusttravelofficial @thetravelfranchiseuk I knew it was meant to be! After building up the business whilst working part time for 2 and a half years… by July 2019 I was ready to take the leap into being full time self employed! An amazing few months followed until the dreaded Covid took hold and wiped out my future bookings & Income. Working for free refunding, rebooking, following updates daily on changes for over a year whilst the world was closed then open then closed again was tough to say the least. I persisted and stuck with my guns that I was going to be successful with my travel business so I continued to power through until the world reopened for holidays again! Travel was well and truly back and so was business (thank goodness) … just a few loans to pay back that kept me afloat during this time 😅 BIG thank you to my family for believing in me !
