Hi Guys, apologises for the silence since the ghost hunt at the Jack the Ripper museum on the 13/12.

I can’t explain it but I’ve had a bit of a pause on what I should do next. I love going to ghost hunts and especially hosting them but the first event at Hinchingbrook was break even and Jack the Ripper event was a £300 loss. I’m in this for the passion but clearly I can’t keep on funding events. This isn’t greed as I love doing this but I’m a little lost as to what’s next.

The day job involves me co-running a business and thankfully it’s been really busy meaning the editing and production of the Jack the Ripper video has taken a back seat. I’m 50% through the footage and it’s definetly more active than Hinchingbrooke but I just need to get it over the line.

What’s next, I’d love to get back involved in production on the tv side of things and I now know I need to be pushed into scarier and more full on events where I can go and do things that others are not prepared to do. Loving, listening and watching and and now Project FEAR. Uncanny is the best British production of investigating British paranormal events which is hosted by which is really good and available on pod cast and they’ve done some episodes on the BBC as well. is a group of young Americans weekly putting themselves in really uncomfortable situations and filming it and ending up sleeping alone in some seriously scary locations.

I’ll be reaching out to them all soon and we’ll see what comes next. In the mean time I feel an abandoned event or two coming next with no fees and just a group of us seeing if we can contact the other side. Can potentially go back to Cold Christmas (see my trailer and video on www.iwanttobelieveuk.co.uk for the videos). Any ideas of locations in the south east are welcome and I’m prepared to push the boundaries and stay by myself (or with our videographer Josh) in some bad places if need be. Have an idea of staying a night on a mortuary slab and filming it whilst calling out sprits and potentially provoking if quiet but clearly that’s dangerous.

Where’s next, maybe you guys will decide……

I thought I’d give you all a little snippet of something that happened at the Jack the Ripper event ahead of anyone else seeing this (pre release of the trailer). After doing various experiments in each of the rooms it was clear the Lounge area was the most active. When we left the room the girl on reception kept on seeing movement on the security camera. She quickly filmed this on her phone so let me know your thoughts as there 100% was no one in the room:-

The Jack the Ripper event went really well last weekend with both audio and video evidence picked up in an active building.

Will over Xmas get a trailer put together of the highlights to wetten the appetite and then release the full length (edited) version on you tube.

For now here’s a list of what we got:-

Audio of a growl when a specific question was asked.

Audio of old music in the background which was not heard to the naked ear when the recording was made.

Horrific screaming on a spirit box when asking questions about the ripper victims. Also later on dark female laughter was heard again via the sprit box.

Security camera footage of the most active room after we left it with clear video of spirits forming.

Will post the trailer over the next week

I want to believe carried out an investigation at the Cold Christmas church tower earlier in the year. Quite a few things were picked up both audibly and through devices and the whole event was filmed. Please follow the link below to the newly created I want to believe you tube channel to view the video:-

Ghost Hunt at Hinchingbrook House on Saturday 26th August.

The event started with a tour of the building by author and paranormal investigator Mark Egerton to get everyone upto date on the buildings amazing history and past paranormal history. Charlie then of I want to believe & June Allman (Spirit Medium) took over the reigns and held various siance’s and call out’s to attempt to contact the spirits and some guests and especially Charlie were heavily effected by a spirit in the Library. Whilst in a circle heavy breathing was going on behind him, people were also swaying in the group and a bolt of what I can only be described as electricity shot through Charlie before a cat ball went off directly in front of him.

Most people after a short visit to the cellars felt uncomfortable and did not want to return. So later a visit to the dining room was had with some individual experiments carried out including the Estes method (blind folded, with headphone’s connected to a spirit box) and a ouija board session where a lady contacted a family member in what was a memorable and emotional experience. A Hexcom (British version of an Ovilus) was used in connection with this with some great results.

Groups at the halfway point split up for some solo investigations where again the library was active with balls going off at will which led to a final visit to the library at the end of the evening which sadly didn’t reproduce the events of earlier.

Highlights of the evening will be available soon on a new you tube channel and will be posted on Facebook as well.

All in all a great night and special thanks to Mark Egerton & June Allman who added their expertise to the evening and I want to believe will return to Hinchingbrook House again…….

So ironic after my last post about the effect and circumstances around watching this movie nearly 40 years ago that I see today their about to release an updated version with some of the same actors including Linda Blair (Regan the possessed girl in the first two movies). I think the thing that strikes me is the sub name of the movie “Believer”.

Given all the other Synchronicity events I’ve had on the lead up to the next event I think things are about to go to another level.

Literally sold out of all the tickets at Hinchbrook bar x3 which I’m sure will go this week. Can’t wait for the event as I honestly think it will be my best ghost hunt ever but in the meantime check out the latest chapter in the……..EXORCIST

Following on from the last post, I was a very impressionable 13 year old when a friend said “let’s watch the Exorcist”. I was a little scared to say the least but told a mate Tuesday is the day. Ice cream van came round on the Monday (how crazy is that to think now that a van based on providing children/family with Ice Cream would let me rent a movie that was soon to be banned) and I rented the movie. The next day I went to school and on the way home by a busy road in St Albans a girlI stood next to me and was killed when she was hit by the edge of portacabin driving past. The scene was horrific and both the girls sister and my mum were soon there and i can’t explain how terrible that was (which later involved court appearances and tons of messages from solicitors and the poor girls family). My mate still came round and I’ve still no idea but we watched the movie. I remember hiding in the toilet for ages but the bu**er just paused the movie waiting for me to come out. We watched it and that was 3 nights of no sleep and then a dream that I only realised recently for 20 years was linked to that.

I’ve always had a facination with movies and I then after years of trying joined Warner Bros as a salesman. After being there for a year and after tons of appeals they a managed to get the “Excorcist” re-released. I was very much at the junior end of that but clearly i’ve got a history with this movie. After plaguing my then bosses I got three original stills including a negative (copied) of one of this most iconic scenes in the movie which I now have on my office wall (the one in the middle).

Apologies for the length of this message but clearly there’s history and I’ll never forget that which is brought home when I watch what to me is the most disturbing movie I’ve ever seen

Really looking forward to the ghost hunt at Hinchingbrook on the 26/8. Couple of months ago I did a quick visit just to look around and my car completely failed in literally every way and broke down as I turned up. Could have happened at any point in the 65 min drive but all the systems failed and shut down when Hinchingbrook was in site. Lots of people believe in these random coincident’s as part of the paranormal. All I know is I arrived at 6.30pm and the tow truck arrived at 2am. Got towed home and when taken off the loader the car started with no malfunctions or failures. Manufacturers came out the next day and stated there’s nothing wrong with the car. Omen, coincidence or just bad luck. I think Hinchingbrook doesn’t want me there but nothing will stop me hosting one of the best ghost hunts of the year. See the quick video I did on the night whilst stuck in the car. Think I’ll get the train next time! Please like and share to anyone interested in 👻
