We are excited to announce dates for our Italian Dolomites adventure on the 2nd – 8th of July 2023!

We have 5 days of adventuring across the stunning Italian Dolomites where you will take in some of the most incredible views in Italy.

What’s included:

🔹6 nights’ accommodation in the 3 Star Hotel Argentina in Cortina.
🔹4 days of Mountain Trekking with qualified ML’s
🔹1 Day of Via Ferrata with a qualified in country climbing instructor.
🔹Optional morning stretch and mobility classes with one of our qualified instructors.
🔹Transport to and from the famous town of Cortina throughout your stay
🔹Full ML support in the lead up to your trip including video check ins and YouTube tutorials on packing/kit and equipment and what to expect on the trip.

Welcome to the team!

We are excited to announce the newest member of the Tomahawk team, Matt Bennet!

Matt has been working with us over the last 12 months developing his log book in preparation for Summer Mountain Leader training and assessment.

Now a fully-fledged ML he starts with us officially on our November Lake District trip at the end of the of the month.

Here’s a bit more about him:

I am originally from Glasgow and have spent most of my life clambering over hills and mountains from Scotland to Tasmania! I love anything to do with the outdoors and this saw me achieve my UK Summer Mountain Leader qualification in 2022.
I spent 9 years as an Officer in the Royal Marines, taking me all over the world, including the Cold Weather Warfare Course in Norway, multiple mountain training packages and finishing up with a tour in the Middle East. I loved every minute of my time in the Corps. Having the privilege of leading Royal Marines & being led by some incredible role models has definitely shaped my outlook on life!

I am looking forward to sharing my passion for the mountains and hope to inspire more people to enjoy them responsibly!

Extremely sad news this morning to hear that a team of mountaineers were killed in ice fall in the Marmolada region of the Italian Alps.

We are a community bound together by the spirit of togetherness and one of the exciting unknown - our hearts go out to the family’s of all involved in the incident.
